Do these physical therapy neck and shoulder stretches while seated or standing up, and see how they improve your alignment (how your joints line up), posture (how you hold yourself), and breathing! You will be amazed at how much alignment, posture, and breathing impact your pelvic health. Do these PT neck and shoulder stretches at least 3-5 times/week if you're tight in the upper body... see how it improves your pelvic floor and your ENTIRE mind + body.
This routine is appropriate for hypertonic (tight) and hypotonic (lax) pelvic floor muscles. Helpful for all types of pelvic floor conditions including pelvic organ prolapse, bladder leakage, pelvic pain, pelvic tension, and more. All genders and all ages can benefit from these stretches! Listen to your body and stop or modify if anything feels uncomfortable for your particular core/pelvic floor needs.

Thank you so much, Dr. Bri! This practice alleviated a tension headache that I'd had for a few days. Your guidance on correct breathing was the most helpful tutorial I've come across on this topic: even though I learned in my twenties that I was a shallow breather and have worked to bring breath into my belly for decades now, the additional awareness of bringing the breath into the lower back was so enlightening.

I have been treating the problem of the pelvic floor for 5 months and I have improved by about 95%. I would like to enter a club to strengthen the muscles of my body through weights “without doing deadlifts” because the more I strengthen one of the muscles of the body, I feel that the pelvic floor improves more, such as the muscles of the neck and back And the feet and shoulders, so are there general tips before I enter the club .. Thank you 🌹🌹

@vibrantpelvichealth
@vibrantpelvichealth 9 ай бұрын
Experiencing back pain during exercises can result from various factors. With a hypertonic pelvic floor and neck tension, these factors may contribute to your discomfort. To alleviate back pain, try relaxation techniques, focus on exercises and stretches that improve posture, and consult a healthcare provider or physical therapist for personalized guidance. Seek professional help if pain persists or worsens. ~ Leila from Vibrant Support
