I would love to see someone do a comprehensive interview on Chuck Carroll. I remember hearing his incredible story but he also conducts all these interviews with these amazing doctors. I bet he's learned a lot over the years.

He’s a great speaker and interviewer. His podcasts are great. The best, well informed guests. I didn’t know him before these podcasts. He is focused on health now but an interview about his weight loss could be interesting.

Chuck has his own youtube channel with his story. Also, Physicians Committee and Dr Laurie Marbas has interviewed Chuck on their youtube channels. Just do a search within youtube and some videos will pop up. 😊👍🏼🥦

I can’t say enough about the quality of this show. I listen to the podcasts almost every moment I am in my car. The information builds my knowledge, especially the current science which supports WFPB eating and a healthy lifestyle. Even more important, the guests and Chuck’s interviews help keep me MOTIVATED to stay on track and improve my habits. 5 Stars and TREMENDOUS KUDOS to the show!!!

Concerning the Hershey dark chocolate study, some dark chocolates have dairy in them so be careful and read the labels before buying to be sure.

Berries. Tea. Chocolate. But stay away from added sugar and fat. Then bike home and go to sleep early. This effect is not very big on its own.

What about just eating grapes and blueberries?

I eat red grapes 🍇 as a snack. They’re delicious. I wonder if I chew the skin well then spit it out do I still get the benefits?

How do I normalize my TSH
@k.h.69912 ай бұрын
Medication.
@k.h.69912 ай бұрын
Longer answer: a whole foods plant based diet did help me with my subclinical hypothyroidism symptoms. However, in the end, I did need medication. With medication and on a plant based diet, I have more physical energy than most adults do (in the gym 4 times a week, to my surprise.)

Djokovic is not vegan, he just says he is "mostly plant-based," and in an interview he gave during the Olympics he said he eats chicken, fish, and eggs, but not red meat or dairy.

You are what you eat. Your diet impacts your health. Lower stress, reduce obesity, get enough sleep and more exercise are key to a healthy life. Obesity in children and adults is rising across the world. Fast food and sugary drinks including fruit juices are contributing to the problem of poor health and obesity. Eat a healthy plant based diet and exercise regularly. Reduce or ELIMINATE cows milk, eggs, cheese and meat. Eat more salad greens, beans, fruit and vegetables. Eliminate fast food, snacks like cookies, cakes, chips, and sugary drinks and juices. Every adult and child should own a bicycle and ride it regularly. Regular exercise will help you sleep better. Yoga is a great stress reducer. Obesity is all too common today. Get off the couch. Get off the phone, ipad or video game. A variety of stretching and other exercises help with increased mobility. Ride to work, ride to school, ride for fun. Every city should be a bicycle city. Speak up for bicycles in your community
