Psoriasis- its on my shin area and little bit behind my neck. Still I will never stop the food and diet you suggest. It tooks me a long time to stop eating chicken, meat, dairy etc. I am the only one in my family who follow your diet. I am happy with my changes even though everyone laugh at my meals and I don't get much support from my family and friends for these changes. i will continue eat my whole meal plant based diet.👏

In a large coffee mug...1 to 2 T. of baking cocoa powder which is about 10 calories, 2 to 3 teaspoons of cane sugar at 16 calories per t. Then add hot water, maybe cinnamon if you like. You can add a little plant milk but I find it takes away from the cocoas richness. It also subtracts from the sweetness. Basically it's just a hot water drink much like ☕ coffee but less caffeine. I had to find a low cal substitute so that's what I rebounded to.

Hello Chuck Dr Neil Barnard this video couldn't have came at a better time. I'm currently in bed unwell with what the doctors believe could be Dysautonomia MCAS and or POTS. This is now being referred to a cardiologist and Dysautonomia specialist. I've got hypothyroidism and Reactive Hypoglycemia as well. I was advised to look at a low histamine diet. I'm vegan and have found gluten and quinoa are triggering flares. I'm at least 18lbs underweight I don't have coeliac disease but I'm sensitive. Thanks for the tips for the elimination diet and how long I should remove foods. I 😮don't consume peanuts regularly and removing them from the diet didn't seem to improve my symptoms. However as stress makes a difference it's difficult to manage as my environment is unavoidably stressful due to being a support for a family member. But I will try removing the foods suggested..✌🏽☘️🌱

Thank you 🥦❤ Wondering if that study which said omega 3s didn't appear to help much for autoimmune was fish oil because omega 3s appear to have been making a tremendous difference with Dr. Brooke Goldner's protocol, prioritizing mostly cruciferous veggies and ground flax/chia for omega 3s. She describes the 6 and 3 pathways which explains why some people aren't converting to EPA and DHA - too many 6s!
@k.h.69916 ай бұрын
It could be the fiber in chia and flax.
@WeCelebrateEatingPlants6 ай бұрын
@@k.h.6991 hi :) healing people or helping the conversion? fiber's important, and the lightest protocol calls for a pound of green leafy or cruciferous veg for starters so one would think there would be plenty to be getting on with but what she says which makes sense to me is people have overloaded with omega 6 causing the inflammation bonfire which is why adding the omega 3s above and beyond what we would normally need helps knock things back in order quickly. Of course we're not doing animal products or oils either so just the drop in 6 can help
@sectionalsofa6 ай бұрын
While the 6-3 ratio may in part be why Dr Goldner gets good results, but more than anything, it's an elimination diet. All the processed floury, sugary, salty, oily foods in the SAD diet (not to mention particular high histamine foods) that are removed. For this same reason, there are those on the carnivore diet who find relief from their autoimmune diseases. Followers of this diet really believe that all plants were the cause of their problems but most likely it was junky processed "plants" or perhaps particular FODMAP or high histamine foods and that were culprits. Talk about throwing out the baby with the bath water.

Leaky gut is a huge culprit.
@LuckyStarhun6 ай бұрын
It is. And if someone has Crohns or ulcerative colitis, then it basically stops them from eating normal. I know because I have UC. I fail to switch on a 100 percent whole food diet because the fibres cause diarrhea. But a low fat diet is important to keep things under control and I blame ultraprocessed foods and fast foods (vegan "fake" meats etc too) for the worsening of symptoms. Vegan is not enough, people need to eat WHOLE FOODS and forget all that junk called " food". No one was cured from anything from swithing to vegan burgers from traditional burgers or substituting dairy cheese with vegan cheese... true vegan is wfpb

How can you tell if a food is a problem when you reintroduce it? For instance, I tested positive for antibodies to gluten, but I'm asymptomatic. How do you test all the foods that might be causing autoimmune responses if your are asymptomatic? I've been trying to find out if there are blood tests for other ingredients besides gluten or if there other tests that would be reliable in figuring out if a food is an issue. However, no one's been able to point me to reliable testing for this.
