Sir how can they have kinetic energy and potential energy at the top?
@MichelvanBiezen6 жыл бұрын
With the tension = 0 at the top, the object must still be moving.

I have an engineering question that is so challenging to me. How can post it to you for help?
@MichelvanBiezen3 жыл бұрын
Our schedule is completely packed. We try to respond to questions when they are posted here.

Hi, how do I find the potential energy of a circular moving object (in cone)
@MichelvanBiezen7 жыл бұрын
PE = mgh (the weight of the object x height of the object)

why the centripetal force of bottom not pointing to the Center of the circle?
@MichelvanBiezen8 жыл бұрын
That is not the centripetal force (which points to the center of the circle), but it is the fictitious "CENTRIFUGAL" force which points away from the center of the circle.

How if the position of thing is in 90 degree from bottom?
@rna67604 жыл бұрын
sir I understood the process but since this is a uniform circular motion, is not the magnitude of v supposed to be same for both top and bottom ?
@akashhera4 жыл бұрын
Angular velocity is the uniform one, not the translational velocity
@tuna34joseph7 жыл бұрын
Sır ıs not velocity constant in circular motion?
@MichelvanBiezen7 жыл бұрын
Velocity is a vector quantity and thus has both magnitude and direction. The magnitude is constant but not the direction.
@tuna34joseph7 жыл бұрын
ı know ı know . but in this example the magnitude of velocity on the top and bottom are not equal. Why?
@jimmiriarty57996 жыл бұрын
This question made me confuse conceptually.
@theoendre64843 жыл бұрын
velocity is constant (in magnitude) in uniform circular motion. In this example, the motion is not uniform due to the acceleration of gravity, hence the difference in the velocities.
