@@sitambhra4910 I am not a experienced person but still i will don't recommend you to do this as mujhe mechanics and gravitation pura khatam karne ke baad bhi kayi cheezein samajh nahi aayi so aap pehle nlm karlo fir uski practice jamke karo atoeast 100 questions karlo coaching material sabse pehle uske baad agla chapter shuru karlo aur sath sath mein hc verma karlo aur aise hi rotational mechanics tak karte raho uske baad gravitation karo aur uske vakt bhi same uske baad shm karo aaoko easy hoga aur samajh bhi aayega full maine practice dhang se nahi ki isliye bhugat raha hun . Baki I am not experienced I am just suggesting that things which I think I should have done.

Sir in this case can you tell how to find the Amplitude of oscillation of each block if each is displaced by x. In some textbook it was given as A1= m2x/m1+m2 and similar for A2. But how do we derive this?

because in absence of external forces only COM is the point which moves at constant velocity in mag as well as in direction... here COM is considered to be moving in a straight line...why com is rest

After every T/2 either maximum compression or maximum elongation will occur... so first depends upon the time instant and the state from which you start it...

Sir , by this method can we find minimum distance between centre of mass and any block . If I am doing this by taking frame of reference another block and equating kinitic energy in that frame equals to 1/2kx² I m getting wrong ans. Please help me out

If you consider frame at another block then use the concept of reduced mass for the other block and solve... directly it cannot be done...

You need to first study the breaking of springs and relation between spring constant and length of spring... it is given as k1 = kl/l1 where k is total force constant, l is total length and l1 is the length of the part of spring... it is explained in detail in PG vol 1 chapter 2...
