and in the second question we can use binomial approximation for getting the same result.I think that is the easiest way to solve these questions rather than remembering time period f'(0) always kyunki differentiation can be long sometimes with the division rule and product rule and stuff .

Even if we follow the traditional method , we need not write the equilibrium position. The force can be simplified by using (1+x)^n = 1+nx for the second part of the Force .Then put the coefficient of x in the final equation as the constant and hence calculate the time period.

DOUBT -- Is The Motion in 2nd Qs really SHM ?? REASON -- Sir in the 2nd question of ball charges & spring the net force on ball is NOT directly proportional to displacement. Hence the motion is not SHM & hence we cannot use the time period equation of SHM Pls correct me if I am wrong or if I am missing something
