If electrons were invented in 1897 and protons were discovered in 1886, then how goldstein knew that there are negative particles, and there must be another charge too, like how, in my book it is written that goldstein conducted same experiment as jj thomson did, like how he knew when the jj thomson experiment was conducted almost 11 years later?
