I used your code to start "mining", but I am sceptical for that YOTI part, for now the counter is running, but I will probably not go through YOTI once it is demanded. Why? : The actual value of any starting digital coin is usually some number of dollar/euro cents. I rather wait for the actual introduction of Pi into the coin market and pay real dollars to exchange into PI coins and not give up my ID details to some YOTI/MOTI/KOTi organisation who probably will sell the data accidentally due to a hack or whatever. By the time Pi coin is really valuable (10/15 years from phase 3), and that is a big IF, then it was worth the few dollars of investments. If not, I still would only lose 20..50 dollars that I would spend on it. I think, it is a waste of time, but thanks for the video/info.

How many times does a server of some organisation get hacked, nobody knows the real reasons, data of millions on the streat due to some claimed reasons and they wash off their hands. The hack could be could be legitimate reasons, but it could also be sold behind doors and blaimed on hacks. Based on your response, I guess best thing to do for me is get rid of the app and get off this youtube subscription. If you judge any business by how they phrase certain parts of their message in their marketing efforts then you can't trust 99% of businesses out there. Pi Network is quite transparent about the details in it's white paper. Sure they should probably also clarify that in their F.A.Q. but considering all the other aspects I've soon so far I more than willing to overlock that poor choice of words.

Are you saying that Pi's only source of income is through ads in the app? Or do they have other backers, and if so - who? A naive way to see this is that they would also charge a fee for each Pi currency transaction once Phase 3 starts, did you see any mention of that somewhere or do we not yet know how it will roll out?

If you consider 13 million users out of which many - especially in countries like the US, UK, AU, IR, CA,... - will likely see one ad per day, that sums up to a lot of money and more than likely enough to cover the costs and pay for the KYC verifications. Regarding the rollout and transaction fees are explained in the white paper, serach for "Transaction fees" at minepi.com/white-paper and you'll find the paragraph about it.

You can't sell Pi until it reaches phase three and gets listed on an exchange. If your age matters then depends on the rules/regulations of the exchange. And I agree with @Jomari holding them for a few years or at least most of them makes IMHO more sense.

As far as I know Pi only received the name, birthdate, and stuff but not the picture, so YOTI just confirms "Yes, this user provided this data and verified it with their ID", but does NOT forward the ID. If you want to know 100% for sure, just email YOTI support.

Yes, you still need to pass the KYC verification for which Pi currently is using YOTI. You just have to wait and eventually you should get an invite in the Pi app to do that, which will then require you to set up your account at YOTI verify your identity with them. Pi will then just ask YOTI if you did that and that's it.

My opinion is that there will be bubbles until this year, and regulations will come soon. Actually, I'm mining Picoin, but everyone's talking about the positive side, so let me tell you some of my concerns and questions. Third, the developer is a fraud? Do you trust it? You can add as many users as you want to your security circle but you only receive a mining rate bonus for the first 5. Besides that the only way to increase your mining rate is by inviting more users that are active and eventually pass the KYC verification.

Not sure how that relates to this video? But yes, stable coins are in general a good alternative to regular savings accounts, but it depends which stable coin since they all also have at least a small risk involved.

That's true in most cases but not when it comes to most crypto projects. In crypto, usually the developers/team reserve a certain percentage of coins for them, just like employees in a startup might get a percentage of the company to compensate for a lower salary. So, here you are not the product because the company and the core team stand to make their profit by making sure their coin establishes itself on the market with a decent value.

Simply log out of account #2. If you used account #1 as referral in account #2 also go to your earning team in account #1 and report account #2 as fake. You'll just lose the referral bonnus you gained from account #2 (if you used account #1 as referral for account #2).
