I'm not trying to hate! But I cringed when the brought out that derma roller, you're not supposed to go over the same areas more than once and you're supposed to pick it up and move it over, not just drag it to the side because it creates larger holes

There are some much cheaper options for HA and Vitamin C serum that won’t break the bank (Hada Labo lotion & Timeless Vitamin C are some examples). Topical products can only do so much. Save your money, or invest it in laser treatments/cosmetic procedures

always surprised at how nobody in those video ever clean their neck... just because you don't put any make up on your neck does not mean it is still clean at the end of the day, how about sweat and all, especially during the summer and especially the kind of summer lots of countries are experiencing at the moment... anyway, i like those videos though !
@tinycandypanda6 жыл бұрын
Lol people who say she's using way too many things? You're gonna have crepe-y skin while she still glowing like an ethereal goddess 10 years down the road. I support this. Skincare > makeup - splurge on skincare and don't bother with the powder!
@victorious15036 жыл бұрын
I have to disagree with your comment. Using tons of skincare does not equal great skin. My mother never used a lot skincare and her skin is soft, smooth and glowing into her 60s. I know many people who don't have an extensive skincare routine and their skin is flawless. Eating well, taking care of yourself, genetics, protecting your skin while out in the sun, etc. are also important to consider. And a lot of expensive skincare out there is just cheap fillers, preservatives and irritating actives, which means you may see good results in the short term, but in the long term, you've just fucked your skin barrier.
@tinycandypanda6 жыл бұрын
I mean the serums all do different things - they're almost all indie brands that use very good ingredients if you looked into them. I personally use many things (double cleanse, toner, essence, serum, oil, moisturizer + sunscreen if day time) and I've never had any breakouts since I've used the regime. I don't think just using one moisturizer is ever enough - the air is so polluted, the sun is absolutely horrendous for the skin - and I believe in researching products you use.
@victorious15036 жыл бұрын
Yes I agree that people should research their skincare and not fall victim to marketing, because there is a lot of garbage out there. However, I still don't think skincare in itself is the answer to great skin, and people shouldn't be under the assumption that they need to layer on 5 different serums and a moisturizer in order to prevent whatever they are looking to prevent.
@tinycandypanda6 жыл бұрын
I can't disagree on that. Can't expect great skin while you're eating crap and not moving at all. But I stand by what I was saying, one cream against all odds isn't realistic, especially with the gunk out there in the air. I was brought up that you gotta use what you need - I've been using eye cream since I was 8. I'm not the one with crows feet by the time I'm 20! But hey, my skin is also dehydrated af, and I live in a completely different climate than your's (I'm in the tropics). Come to my city for a week and see if one cream would work for you. Don't think so!

Felizya Desjarlais same. I’ve watched KZbin videos where the girls are layering a thousand layers of oils and moisturizers. Must be pretty cool cause your skin will be super soft, but if I do that I would have a huge breakout, I have very oily skin thats really prone to getting closed comedones and sensitive. So I need to stay alert when trying new products.
@TheHeartsGirl6 жыл бұрын
Felizya Desjarlais totally!! I’m not saying that one is worse than the other cause both skin types have their specific problems, but I think when you have oily skin finding a good oil or moisturizer that doesn’t break you out or makes you look like the inside of a frying pan is hard af. Last year I was in college and I was nervous for a class that we were about to have, and my friend goes “omg you’re so nervous you’re sweating look at your forehead”, like noo sweety, that’s my oily ass skin. Getting that “glowy healthy look” just within minutes of washing my face.

But you guys are sooo lucky when it comes to aging!! We dry skin people get fine lines/wrinkles and signs of aging waay before you do! You really have no reason to be jealous of us because in the end you're the winner!
@dolllmouth6 жыл бұрын
These serums are as light as water and sink in completely. I have extremely oily skin and use several of these types of serums in each routine. These are meant for layering. Ones that pack more humectants and emollients will obviously be more heavy and unsuitable for an oily skin but so long as rheyrw light, you can layer many with no problem. Texture and ingredients make all the difference. I find more light layers over less heavier layers work far better for balancing my oily skin.
@avalyn286 жыл бұрын
Actually, layering many light products is better than using a couple of heavier products. I didn't actually believe it until I started using Asian products and layering all of them. They're very light, so they don't clog the pores, they don't overwhelm your skin, but instead they slowly give your skin what it needs. It's a great technique.
