That funny little foot brake you EU guys get on this is hilarious. My 250ie has no problem going up any hill in San Francisco. Not only goes up but does it like a car. Love it.

I once owned the 400 version of this bike. I bought it hoping my wife would take to riding but she never did and so the machine was sold. In my time owning it and riding it I found it to be a powerful bike with a lot of the power available at the top of the power band. For comparison I own a Suzuki Burgman 650 scooter and it has a more even spread of power. The Piaggio could sit on 110km/h (the national speed limit in Australia) comfortably but was also at home doing a daily commute or just going to the shops. The two wheels up front can be locked at speeds below 5km/h meaning that as you approach traffic lights you can keep the machine upright withoutt putting your feet on the ground handy for those worried about balancing a bike. It leans and counter steers like all bikes. The under seat storage if fine but if I recall correctly the in dash storage was a bit limited. My one big complaint would be that the 400 was meant to be used for touring as well as daily commute and the screen was useless. It is one of those silly things that is supposed to provide some wind deflection but it is much too short it barely makes the instruments readable in bright sunlight. Yes I know you could get an after market one from Givi or someone else but why not include a decent electrically adjustable on like the Burgman and other scooters including BMW and Kymco.

Hello BogdanO, yes, my favorite as well, but very hard to get a hold on here at the moment, especially for test rides. They are all sold out already. Maybe next month I might get the chance to test ride.

What a cool ride. ... do I need a special License or can we drive this three wheeler with an oridnary car license? When I read the title (HPe) I thought this little thing would have 300 Horsepower :D :D

300 HP? Yeah, I wish :) Yes, you can ride it with yur regular car license.

I am really curious how you felt of the comfort of the seat of Piaggio models, especially the BV300 or 350 as compared to the XMAX?

To be honest I haven't given it much thought. I didn't notice anything different or weird, so I guess it was okay for me. And to compare it to the XMAX, i would need to ride the XMAX again. It's been quite some time. So, sorry that i cannot give you any more info on the seating comfort. Why do you ask? Do you think the Piaggio was uncomfortable?

I currently have a Honda PCX but I really want a XMAX or a BV 350 and I cannot decide. The PCX is uncomfortable after 1 hr.

nice effort showing the bike, but I would suggest familiar yourself with the bike for the viewer see how things works (not so important comment about tractions control) is actually one of the most important of the bike feature which you neglect to show. don 't meant harsh criticism, but just thought you should know.

Hi, well, you could use this as your first bike. It's just a matter of getting used to. Not much difference to a two-wheeled scooter. The bigger three-wheelers act a bit differently in the corners though.

Hello, no, I don't think it would be right for you, since sometimes you cannot use or forget to use or whatever the automatic balancing system and then you will get a problem. Maybe a bike with four wheels would be better then, like the Qooder: www.qooder.com/en/qooder
