I so needed easier sight-reading! I'll try to print that soon so I can go for this instead of the book I've borrowed at the library!

I won't be playing this canon piece for quite a while. At the moment I'm struggling with 'Aeolian Lullaby' in my Prep B repertoire (not sure why it's so tough). There is no one that I know that has any passion or interest in piano so watching these videos are refreshing and motivates me to keep practicing even when I don't feel like it.

Thanks for introducing me to Kunz's canons. I'm ripping through them right now and enjoying them immensely. What canons do you recommend for after finishing Kunz?

I'm glad you're enjoying the canons! There aren't very many canon/invention "collections" (usually just a piece here or there by a particular composer). One of the most famous collections, and one that I force on all my students, are JS Bach's inventions. They're a massively important stepping stone to his more difficult works. Still, these are a challenge. His inventions are around a grade 7/8 level, so it's a pretty big jump from Kunz's canons. One book that I've looked at (but haven't used, so take my advice with a grain of salt) is Ross Lee Finney's book of 24 inventions. They're easier than the Bach inventions, and are more modern. The con if it being a modern book is that it isn't copyright-free, so you'd have to by it. Nonetheless, it might be a good option. www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/inventions-24-sheet-music/1038459

pianoTV: Thanks. Bach's inventions are great, of course, but they are, as you suggest, difficult. I think I need another year or so. Right now when I try them it's just a mess.

Which canon should a student start from if he is at rcm level 2??

Thank you for this piece of advise! I've been working through this collection, and one thing I noticed is that a lot of these canons end with the third in the bass line following a cadence. Why not just voice the tonic in the bass and the mediant in the right hand? It's a simple adjustment, and it would sound more resolved. Could someone explain to me what this man was thinking?

Hey Allysia. Kansst Ich fragen.. that are you going to make a video, where you just play those 200 cannons. In one video. Not explaining ofcourse the details but just playing it. So atleast we know how to play them., by listening. So ofcourse not all of them, but a good chunk of it. That is up to you, but I really want that :)
