Yeah that’s the same issue I had when learning the part at 1:18, but I just played it an octave lower since I didn’t have enough keys to play that part. So when I play it on an actual piano, I just move up an octave. A very simplistic, yet good song.

Same! I've actually realized, out of the 13 official songs, 6 are technically themes for Sayori. That's above Monika with 3! Here are the songs that are Sayori's "themes". 1. "Ohayou Sayori!" - I mean, this one is pretty obvious as it has Sayori in the name, and it first plays when you meet Sayori. 2. "Daijobu!" - This one, some people might be like "how is that her theme?". If you listen, It's pretty much got the same melody as "Ohayou Sayori!", but slowed a bit. 3. "My Feelings" - Again, this first plays when you are talking to Sayori. 4. "My Confession" - Like the others, first plays and is most centered towards Sayori's confession. 5. "Sayo-Nara" - Yeah... let's move on from this one... 6. "I Still Love You" - This one, sure does play when you delete Monika, but It is, like "Daijobu!" to "Ohayou Sayori!", a slowed down version (with different instruments of course) of "My Confession" I kind of consider this to be both a Monika and Sayori theme. Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk. Still, I'm really surprised Sayori had this many songs in the soundtrack relating to her. Even though she didn't get too long of a time in the game, boy was she noticed in the music.

I don't think I've ever gotten as emotional over a video game before. I still feel really bad for all of the characters, but especially Sayori. She is my favorite out of all of them (right after Natsuki) and I was so distraught when I witnessed... you know... I honestly don't even want to say it. It's been about a month since I played through this game the first time and I still haven't been able to even begin to get over it. I'm not even sure if there's really any getting over it. The game just does such a phenomenal job at building a bond between you and the characters that they almost don't feel like characters anymore, but rather your actual friends. They all have their own problems that real people deal with every day. This game's depiction of different mental illnesses (especially Sayori's depression) are so brutally realistic and honest that they made me seriously doubt my own mental well being. This is honestly the closest I've ever been to having depression. I have somewhat managed it but I still can't seem to take my mind off this game. A few times I just broke down and cried my eyes out. My little sister laughed at me and said that I don't have real PTSD, but I'm not so sure... However, I still had to experience it all if I wanted to get the good ending. So I endured it all over again, but this time I knew what to expect. I was prepared. I was stronger. And it was worth it. Getting that good ending gave me such a sense of accomplishment I've never felt before. I could finally feel like myself again. Just a few days back I did some searching and came across a mod for this game, called: "Doki Doki - Normal Virtual Novel". Basically the same, but without any of the twisted stuff happening. It is a great mod and an extremely faithful recreation that lets you build a relationship with any of the four girls, even Monika. The writing is great and the endings had me laughing out loud! I'm still not all the way recovered, but I at least have managed to somewhat live with this feeling, so I'm doing alright now. Writing this down also helped. If you read this far, thank you. I'm not begging for sympathy or likes. I just want you to understand and I hope I'm not the only one dealing with this. I hope you have a blessed day.

For Sayori, "My Feelings" when she talks about her depression, and "My Confession" when she confesses to you. For Yuri, "My Feelings" (sped up) when she says "Who cares about that obnoxious brat?" and her eye bleeds and "My Confession" (distorted, with heavy breathing and giggles) when she confesses to you right before she stabs herself.

I think it's meant to be calm. The juxtaposition of the calm music with Yuri's weird behavior just kind of gives you this sense that she's desperately trying to hold herself together and act normal, even though her sanity is in shambles and her mind has been hijacked by Monika. For me the calm music made the scene that much more emotional, and that much more desperate.

Hmm... this song is one of the only songs in a game that actually makes me sad, especially with the ddlc+ side stories of how monika and sayori got to know each other and alos how monika was an innocent person who just wanted to have a club she was passionate about but when the MC comes along she only wants him and him for herself and no one else, she throws away the amazing friendship she had with sayori, yuri and natuski just for the MC, all because she realised she was in a game and couldnt keep being friends with her autonomous robots she thought were her friends, everyone says how monika was the bad person and to an extent yes but she probably felt VERY betrayed when she realised her friends werent real and that she wasnt either, especially after everything feeling so real to her. it all wasnt.

For all the people saying that the song "My Feelings" played for sayori and this for Yuri: Yes, that is true, but "My Feelings" plays during the scene where YOU confess to Sayori and "My Confession" plays first when Sayori talks about her depression. Edit: Just realized that "My Confession" actually plays in both Sayori scenes, as I went back and looked at some people playing through the game. I think "My Feelings" plays in the CG where Sayori hugs you.

This is why I love Yuri. I hate to see her kill herself. She is so beautiful, and kind, and shy. I know she is just a anime character from a game, but I would do anything, to be with her in real life.
