Hearing you place this brings back so many previous memories of our lessons together - not that they were that long ago - but the song has such a beautifully reflective melody I just love it. Thank you dear Anne - Good morning.

I’m not gonna lie to you, I don’t know anything about harps, and I never really cared for instruments as a whole. Until I stumbled upon one of your videos, which has led to me binge watching for the past hour and a half now. I can safely say that I’m glad that I found your channel, because these videos are extremely relaxing. I just wanted to say keep up the good work and I look forward to the next upload 🙏🏼💙

I'm the total opposite as far as having been mesmerized by musical instruments my whole life and having learned to play many of them; however, I've been feeling increasingly drawn to the harp, in part because it seems like the sort of instrument that can speak to anybody (as opposed to the pipe organ, which is my primary instrument). It's so nice to see your positive reaction to Anne's harp music!

This is the first piece I bought last year, when I started to learn to play harp. Since then, even if I was not ready for this piece, I continued to try to learn to play it, because I love it too much, it's so sweet and calming! And now, after a lot of time, I am almost good enough to play it until the end. ❤❤❤

I composed "First Snow" back in 2016 so I felt it was time to update the original video. This is video footage of my favorite trail from months ago when we actually had snow! Isn't it so pretty? Chances are you have "First Snow" tucked away in your harp binder. Why don't you get it out and play it again. If you have a small harp you just need to make a few small tweaks near the end to make it work on 25 strings. Here's the link to the sheet music: musicdiscoveries.shop/products/first-snow

Hi! I fell in love with this song! I bought the sheet, I hope it works for my 22 strings harp! I am just a beginner, I can't see the time to learn this song, it's so sweet! Thank you, and if you have any advice please tell me! ❤️❤️❤️

@@vehrkalia What is your lowest string? This one can be adapted quite easily to a small harp with C as the lowest string.
@vehrkalia2 жыл бұрын
@@annecrosbygaudetmusic hi, Anne! Thank you for your reply. My lowest string is a C, as the higher. 🙂 The harp is a 22 string camac.

@@annecrosbygaudetmusic I am trying to play it and I found a problem with the second hand. Playing on a 22 string I have to play with both hands the B in the part where we have with second hand the accord E-B-E and with the right hand the sequence B-B-C-E, in the second line of the sheet. How could I solve the problem?

Lovely Anne - need this snowy image today as it’s 31 Celsius with 58% humidity right now in Windsor, ON. One good thing is that the harps really ring beautifully with the high humidity. My Marini 28 Bass Lap Harp in Padauk is being built now 😃🎉😃. I can hardly wait to get it so I can play your beautiful songs outdoors (don’t feel like dragging out the Dusty). Thanks again Anne for your wonderful music - fills me with joy! 💕

I have a question - re measure 41 : A-E-A what would you recommend as a substitute (I have muzzikon 28 string Claddagh - C is the lowest note). And then at measure 43 what might I substitute the B-F-B with? I really love this piece!

That's right, you need 34+ strings for this arrangement. Watch for the graphic in my shop that shows range, key signature and lever changes to help you make choices that be suit your harp.
