The story I imagined for this: Loid becomes a target for one of Yor's clients, Yor finding out that he is actually a spy, she plans on killing him when his back is turned. When she suddenly remembers all the fun times and happy moments they three (Anya) had together, not being able to bring herself to kill him due to the memories she had with him (and Anya), she goes to the kitchen to make tea just to get her mind off of things. When Loid finds out about this from the higher ups from his Morse code (the one box he was using in the first episode) that she plans on killing him, he instinctively sneaks up on Yor in the kitchen and shoots her in the head with his silenced pistol (Judging by the looks, it's a combination of a German PO8 Luger and a Soviet PM Makarov) but not before Yor quickly turning back and throwing a throwing knife directly to his chest, which at the same time, Loid shoots his pistol which gives him a shock around his body as the knife impacts on him. As he bleeds to his death, he remembers all the great times he had with Yor and he starts to cry, now knowing how much it felt nice having a family, and then just and end it all because of his profession. He sheds a tear from his eye and looks at Yor's lifeless body with a bullet hole on her forehead, and remembers Anya's smiling face (not the smug one) and their happy moments as a family before he dies. Anya wakes up from his sleep, as she gets out of bed excited to watch her favorite TV show when she stops dead in her tracks, she doesn't hear the usual cooking sounds of footsteps or conversation of Loid and Yor, fearful of being abandoned again (she's been returned to the orphanage multiple times which was shown in the first episode), she runs out of her room expecting to see no one, but instead see the bloody mess of what used to be her "happy family" Edit: I have thought of another scenario where Yor is the one that kills Loid first. There is no way that Loid even as the "best spy" would be able to kill yor because he already start having real feelings and i quote "what would i feel if i were anya real father" fact is that hes already feeling what a real father would and that's the same shit for yor. also in your plot you don't "care" about Anya until the end, which is an error because she's the reason the they got together in the first place and they are talking about education together and shit. an other plot would be that the villain (forgot his name) would found out somehow that loid is a spy, (maybe a mistake from anya who knows) call all enemy of Loid and they fight till death while protecting anya - i know it's way more basic as a tragic ending but tbh it would make a lil more sens considering how both feel for each others already

They had found the most wanted spy, the person who would bring their country to ashes, the one that the SSS was trying to kill off as soon as possible. And to say it to him as soon as he walked into the man’s office. “Did you know?” The man stared at him, the scar on his cheek seemingly bigger. “About what?” What was Yuri not getting? “Twilight. Also known as Loid Forger. Husband of Yor Briar, your sister.” And just like that, time stopped for Yuri. He was in shock before a few seconds, before his mind rebooted and his thoughts started running wild. “Loid? Lottie?” He murmured. Yes, he had thought of Loid as a spy when they first met, but that was in jest. Yuri was drunk, and he couldn’t accept the fact that Yor had married Loid for a whole year and she didn’t tell him. But he couldn’t actually be Twilight, right? Because of he was, then Yor- Oh. Yuri’s breath hitched, and without him knowing he grasped the desk in front of him, tears threatening to spill from his eyes. Yor was in love with Loid, Yuri could see that. It had only been a year since Yuri knew of the arrangement but it had been clear as day that what they felt to each other was genuine. But was it really? Twilight was a master spy, a man who could use a thousand faces. Was he actually in love with her? But Yor was in love with her husband and now here was, taking that away from her, when the only thing he ever wanted was to make her happy. Her husband was going to die by his hand and she’d weep and Anya- what about her? What about the child who was going to live without a father. What was he to do? He couldn’t just betray the country for his sister but- “I took on this job for her.” He belatedly realised. The only reason he joined the SSS in the first place was because of her. He thought Westalis would hurt them, hurt Yor, but she was happy. Happy with the man he was trying to find, to kill. And that hurt him so much more that any thing he had ever experienced. He had tried, to exterminate one of the things that made his dear sister happy. He couldn’t keep on musing however, when he felt a cold metal on his forehead. Sucking in a deep breath of disbelief, he looked at the man in front of him. “Sir,” he whispered. “You know how these things go, Yuri Briar. To be so close to one such target, and to let you go freely as you please, it’s not the way of our organisation.” The man’s eyes were cold. Uncaring. Despite how long they had worked, all that was left was apathy. “Sir please, my sister. Anya knew it was a bad idea to reveal her ability to read minds, yet she was unable to stop herself from confessing the thruth when all her "happy family" was about to shred each other into pieces, the hatred, the pain, the fear, the doubts running in all their minds while they pretended to just have a normal family dinner was too much for her to bear. "Papa, mama is an assasin." Anya shyly breathed out, internally hearing Yor's disbelief and fear. "Anya, don't do this kind of jokes." Twilight laughed awkwardly, knowing that in fact what Anya said was true. He needed to keep pretending in order to keep Yor fooled and succed with his mision. "Apologize with Yor, that was pretty rude." "Papa you're an spy." She continued keeping her head down. Yuri's fork fell back to the still warm pasta 'Loid' made earlier. "I knew it from the beginning! " Yuri yelled standing violently from his seat, while Yor tried to calm him and make him take seat again, yet Yuri knew his sister too well. Yor was lying and he felt betrayed. "I think that's too much TV for you." 'Loid' said firmly and smiled continuing with his dinner. "Uncle Yuri is a memeber from the secret police." Yuri froze, he couldn't keep his angry facade at the girl's words. Twilight quickly realized the atmosphere was completely tense, he couldn't help but wonder how Anya knew all those things, was she eavesdropping? But it didn't make sense, he was really acreful not to keep Anya around when he discussed those topics. "Anya knew all of this from the beginning. Anya loves you all, please don't try to kill each other!" Anya sobbed. "Mama please don't kill papa while he cooks! Papa don't take mama away when she goes to her fake job! The mission Strix, has failed right now. He and Yor kept their gazes fixed on each other. "If Anya knew all of these from the beginning, she's smarter than I thought I understimated your ability to train a child as a spy. Now everything makes sense, the lack of registers on her certificates, the lack of information of her existence. You planned it all from the beginning Yor!?" "I didn't know Anya before I met you! I don't know why I'm giving you explanantions." She whispered the last part to herself, the trained ears from everyone in the room caught her words. "Papa, mama didn't know that... " The little girl walked in middle of the adults as a barrier. "Anya was the one who put you all together. I knew papa was an spy when you came to the orphanage. Anya knew mama was an assasin when we met her in the store. I knew uncle Yuri was a member from the secret police after he visited us the first time." "Anya." The adults in the room called in unison. "Who are you?" Twilight asked in disbelief, the pain in his chest just got worse. Anya was the only one he believed innocent from all of them, he couldn't believe he fell in a trick that low. He got attached, he became weak. "Anya got attached to Papa too, and Papa is strong." She spoke soflty and they all looked at her in surprise, 'Loid' hadn't said a word yet. "Anya is Anya. Anya isn't a spy..." She took a deep breath before continuing speaking, her legs felt weak, her power was her curse as well. The memories of her past and short life were making her head spin, by force of custom 'Loid' and Yor were instantly next to the little girl who was weaker by second passing. "Anya is a sper, Anya is a runnaway experiment." She sobbed remembering the cruel words many people said and thought about her. "Anya is not human." Time froze for all of them... They weren't fighting between countries anymore, they were figting something bigger that kept growing in the dark. All their missions have failed, the new target was to own the pink haired girl who fainted between 'her parents'. No orders needed, they had to keep pretending nothing happened, after all the key of peace was sleeping amonst them.

The assassin, almost lazily, dodged the bullet and threw her skewer his way. Loid barely had time to register her evasion before he realised the weapon had already pierced his chest. He staggered back, gasping. “Was that it?” The sultry voice of the Thorn Princess mocked him. I expected better from the infamous Agent Twilight.” Loid froze, gripping the skewer’s handle. That voice… He looked towards the assassin and recognised his ‘wife’ standing there. Yor’s satisfied smirk fell immediately, her face paling in horror. “Loid?!” She gasped. “You’re Twilight?” Loid said nothing in response, only leant back against the wall and slid to the ground. His shirt was already stained as red as his tie. “No.” Yor whispered. “No no no NO!!” She panicked as she ran to him, holding him steady. “I didn’t know!” She cried, her eyes streaming. “I swear, I didn’t know!” She turned back toward where she followed him. “Help!” She shouted. “Someone, please! My husband needs a hospital!” Loid couldn’t hear if anyone responded. He stared at the blade stuck into him, dumbfounded. He couldn’t even tell if he was still breathing. “Loid, look at me.” Yor held his head in both hands. “Look at me! Help’s on the way! You’re going to be okay!” Without thinking, Loid reached forwards, placing his hand on Yor’s tear-soaked cheek. “Take care of Anya.” He struggled to say before going limp. “Loid?” Yor breathed as she tried to lift his head. “LOID!!” Still no response. I both love and hate this because it's giving me ideas of how it would end if it was a dark and depressing anime/manga (although, if you don't take into account the side "missions" it's becoming pretty dark in the manga rn-) like, how I want it to end is with Yor quitting her assassin job, Loid finding out about Anya and accepting her, being able to quit being a spy (although that's literally impossible) and Anya just having a normal school life, being friends with Becky, Damian, Ewen and Emile(the last two are Damian's henchmen) so this is making me think about the possible outcomes, like Yor being assigned to kill Loid, under the name Twilight. She finds out, is devastated and can't bring herself to do it because she ended up falling in love with him, he gets assigned to take out the Garden and all it's members and when he realizes Yor is apart of it has a breakdown, because he fell in love with her too... or Twilight's whole mission is a success and he has to abandon Anya and Yor, probably by faking his death as Loid, and never being able to interact with them again (what's really fucking sad to me about this one is Anya is terrified of being abandoned again, and if he did manage to sneak around and watch her, she'd probably hear his thoughts and know what's happening, at least know that he's following her, but she wouldn't be able to go find him without exposing herself) or Anya gets found by the people who were doing experiments with her and get's taken and Loid and Yor can't find her, and it just turns out it's apart of the government and Loid can't risk anything because war might break out with the West finding out about the human experimentation (if I remember right, it was east doing illegal experimentation (in the manga it says something about that)that's why Anya is in the east) or Yuri finds out about Loid and get's him arrested and possibly killed because he wouldn't sell out his organization, Yuri wouldn't threaten to hurt Yor because he's literally in love with his own sister (ew btw-) but he might threaten Anya, and I think that parts the scariest about this one... would Loid change his mind for Anya... there's a strong possibility, but would Agent Twilight..? no. plain and simple. Twilight would never sell out his organization, he'd rather die, but Loid? he'd do pretty much anything for Anya, and we see that becoming true in both the show and manga currently god I hate and love this anime so much, because something like any of these could actually happen and it wouldn't really seem out of place sorry for the long comment, I just needed to get my thoughts out and this seemed kinda like the perfect place

Ain't no way SxF ain't gonna be a more dark further in the story. The first ep was already a bit dark, with the child abuse experience and abandonment issues Anya has. Now her father is a spy, who seems to also have a dark backstory that drove him into being a spy. And her mother is an assassin, who had to do all the dirty work because they didn't have their parents. Who pushed her to be an assassin at such a young age anyway? Isn't that also child abuse? And now Yuri just got introduced, who is secretly a fucked up police officer hunting Twilight-Loid. Surely there's gonna be a day when all the secrets come out. It's not like they're gonna live this fake, perfect family life all their lives. What if Yor finds out her husband is a spy? What if Loid finds out she's an assassin? What if Yuri finds out his sister's husband is the one he's been looking for all along? What if because of this, Loid's mission gets messed up. What then? Will there be a war?? It was quite hard to find out the reason why they experimented her, but..... We sooner found out she is a Telepath." Twilight felt his heart drop. A telepath? Those exists? Anya is an experiment? He felt like his mind was full on empty, he couldn't think. However, he recalled everything that Anya experienced. When they were on an interview on Eden, when someone asked who does she like more, her real mama or Yor. That must've broke her heart. She was an experiment- an object used by scientists. She was moving place to place to find someone that accepts her- He couldn't. He couldn't accept this. "Are you sure you're not mistak-" "I am sure, Twilight." Handler replies coldly before he can even finish his sentence. No, no, no, he didn't want to believe this- He felt tears in his eyes. This was his first time crying about someone when he joined the agency. Even Sylvia was shocked. He didn't want to believe he had to leave Anya. He believes there's a solution, where him, Yor and Anya can live together, without any problems, together, forever. "Twilight! Get back to your senses! If you don't want to get fired, then act like a spy and let us take away Anya from yo-" He slammed his hand on the table. He couldn't bare to hear those words, he couldn't bare seeing Anya crying while agents took her away from him. "No, no, no, shut up. She will be with me, forever, with Yor, and we'll be happy-" "Papa...?" He heard that small voice, full with fear. He turned around to see two agents holding her, with a blindfold on her eyes. His eyes widened. He felt guilty. He quickly headed to her and hugged her as tight as he can, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry Anya, I'm so sorry... I love you, okay? We'll be together....soon." He gave her a smile,tears soaking her blindfold. "I love you too, Papa.." She mutters, before she heard footsteps leaving the room and closing the door. That was the last time Anya ever heard his voice and his presence. She thought, why did she even help him with his mission if she knew this was how it'll end anyways? She regretted it, she regretted that she trusted him. Although, deep down, she loves him to the bottom of her heart. She didn't want to admit it, cause she knew everything he said was a lie. "I hate you, I hate you so much." The 13-year old Anya mutters on her breath, as she hugged her knees, chains on her wrists and ankles. "Cmon, Anya. It's time for another experiment." The agent calls her, taking of her chains and letting her put her hands on her back. "How's Pa- Twilight..?" "I already told you this. I cannot tell you anything about him." The agent replies. "Okay. How about Mama?" She asks. The agent sighs. "She's still locked up in the room. She hasn't woken up since yesterday." Ah, that's right. She was an assassin from the West. She sighs, as she watched agents let them experiment her, she was tired. 'Papa...when are you going to be back..?'

Shows poor care and physics of various test subject, male, female, young, old, adults, children. Shows visuals of test subjects getting treated like an animal in an experiment. Shows test subjects on their daily routines, eat, test, sleep, repeat, eat, test, sleep, repeat. Shows test subjects getting ruthlessly ab0sed for for disobeying orders. And then finally into Anya's room, the only sunshine and rainbow that's left in this absolute madness of a place. *opening ends, episode plays* It's her 69th attempt, (nice) Her body is covered with c0ts and br0ises due to the scientist ab0sing her for her escape attempts, But that doesn't stop her from her dream of seeing the outside world, freedom and finding her own identity of who she really is, She believes she can and she will, those words are the last thing that she remembers from her mother, Every night she cried after getting ab0sed, everything she's been going through, failure over failure, it's now or never, this is her last resort, She gave everything she has, she put her heart and determination to it, unfortunately, It was 'this' close but Anya failed to escape the lab, The inhuman crazy scientists had enough of her trying to escape and they decided to remove her capability to think, Scr0aming in fear, cry1ng in pain, res1sting, as Anya slowly loose her consciousness from her feet to her head, *silence* Her cries echoed and her screams fade away The scientists eventually got full control of her, "Anya, come here you little br0t!" *says one of the scientist* She follow the order as she slowly mindlessly walk towards them, Like a robot, she obeys without denying, Like a doll, she follows without hesitation, She can't feel no more, She doesn't have anymore thoughts, She completely lost the meaning of life, The only thing left in her mind is that she likes peanuts which she's also allergic too, The scientists decided to left it in because the want to see her s0ffer everytime she eat... *THE END, EVIL SMUG FACE* Honestly, I can continue about what happened after this, but it's so sad imagining the anime this way, it's just way too dark and depressing, especially the last one, no peanut for life, man it must be hard, huge respect for those who had peanut allergies. Well, it's not like I have any other choices, if I keep on going yt probably won't let me to post this comment lol. This would fit my au: Yuri is close to finding out who twilight is and loid is now his main suspect. Loid spies Yuri in suspicion and finds out Yuri is against him and works for the SSS. Loid decides not to tell Yor and investigates more about the situation. Loid tells the woman in the hat (I don’t know her name) that works with him about it. Loid is set on a side mission to either pull off plan A: Finding a way to twist it and save Loid from suspicion and continue the mission(somehow). He could also pull plan B as a backup: If Plan A Is unsuccessful, Loid will have to Assassinate Yuri instead if there is no other way. Loid tries to twist Yuri’s mind but fails and fails. Loid thinks about plan B, yet he worries for Yor, as she is Yuris sister. Loid plans on assassinating Yuri to make the plan work even if it means lying to Yor. (Since Loid doesn’t know Anya is a telepath, he doesn’t worry about Anya knowing)Loid sends a message through the box thingie(the one Anya used on the first episode before she got kidnapped by some guys who got the message.)and Yor overhears while cleaning. Yor is in shock and starts to worry. Yor feels betrayed by Loid and has second thoughts. Yor can’t stand it and makes Loid a target, even though it hurts. The day Loid goes off for “work”, Yor kills Loid and abandons the place, returning to Yuri. Anya, who returned from school came to find nothing but Loids dead body, and Yor missing. Anya I’m shock, tries to find someone to help. The police were called and they still were seaching for weeks. Yor stays unfound. They decide to call off the case and Anya was sent back to the orphanage in sadness. Later she gets adopted again, and then she was turned in to the scientists who had her when she was younger.

An interesting thing to theorize in the endgame of SpyXFamily is the Yor vs Loid Climax fight. With the castle fight and Anya’s “Mama, don’t kill Papa” nightmare being possible foreshadowing I expect Loid to obviously be overwhelmed by Yor’s immense strength. The one sided fight will make us think that this is the end for him. But he’ll then use very clever tricks up his sleeve. Bit by bit, gaining the upper hand before winning. Which will show everyone why he’s the best spy. This is usually how stories with smart characters against much more powerful enemies go.

I get hopefulness and hopeless feelings when I'm listening. It sounds like trouble is stirring, and the forgers are struggling. There trying to get through but all these horrible things are happening and secrets are being revealed. Depressing things happen to them... but then... that main theme sparkles through as though its the sun peering through grey storm clouds on a dismal rainy day. To me it sounds more like a song of hope and of the forgers pushing through hard times then song of pure sadness and despair. In fact it sounds like there is a future for the forgers, its just going to be hard (even though the title disagrees). Or this is how I have interpreted it.

Basically the vibe of the song: Bad ending: Loid goes against the mission regulations and eliminates Desmond to maintain the piece, dropping the Forger disguise, Yor is ordered to assassinate him, but gets killed instead, Anya's ability to read minds is exposed and she gets send in Westalis for secret experiments, and Twilight is being handed over to Ostania in order to settle the things down after Desmond's assassination. We have achieved the piece at a cost of a one happy family.

I can imagine both loid and yor going in for the dark scene (I imagine the setting will be them inside a big abandoned hideout with two opening letting in the light source from the full moon with their surrounding being dark like in some betrayal and fight scenes) And the first seconds are like when they face eachother holding both their weapons Talking their dialogue While the first second cover plays, Then onto the 0:52 part of the song is where they charge And dodging their attacks,jumping around,loid firing his gun,yor dodging it and trying to get close to loid While the intense cover goes up Both them cover in blood and injuries while the intense cover still playing And before the piano goes intense like 2:57 They both injured eachother again And onto the last bit of 3:00 They both sit down on their knees like a devastated character is and both look up(you can picture it,right?) All blood,exhausted,tired and devastated Yor broke down in tears while still looking up,recalling all of their happy memories Loid then tears up too,still looking up Thinking of their future aswell as anya Then saying Loid:we...shouldn't do this..yor how about anya after this?(while breathing heavily,tearing up) Yor:y-yeah...lets..think of...miss anya's future Im sorry...loid *sniff* Im such...a failure as a...wife(hand covering her face while she cries) Then the last bit of the seconds of the cover the scene ends with a black cover eating up the surrounding dramaticaly like most ending movies(can you guys picture it?) One of Yor's "clients" were part of the secret police and that made her become one their hit list. Once found out who Twilight was, it wasn't long before they figured out who the assassin was. Twilight and Yor were forced to fight each other to the death as an unfortunate set up by their bosses and the secret police showed up to reinforce the action that they had stumbled upon and made sure there was no way to escape (they figured out who twilight is and made sure Anya was locked away) However they wanted Intel, but the two were in an unreachable spot so the secret police decided that the best option was to let it play out and have one of their enemies defeated. Yuri kept trying to stop the secret police but the secret police doubted his loyalty and so they were prepared to take drastic measures (at worst case, death) and just like that Yuri was out of the equation. Damian's dad was connected with this operation with the secret police and Damien ended up finding Anya and trying to help her but then they were caught by Damian's dad and a few of the secret police and the were separated. Anya tried fighting the force of the secret police but they ended up hitting her because she was so resistant, and being the child she is, the natural instinct would be to do anything for it to not happen again, however Anya is special so she keeps trying however, it's too late. Where Yor and Twilight are fighting, they really don't want to but there's no other way out... Or is there? They end up communicating a plan to escape this death trap but are cornered in by the secret police and before they know it both their weapons are in each other's stomach and back as they stare at each other's eyes as the time they shared flashes before them for the last time. That's what I was picturing

What Im thinking about this is when everyone learns about Anya's and their dog's true origin. Damian rushes over the Forger's residence. Anya, her family, and a couple of his and her friends are now at the small birthday. He spooks everyone as he rushes inside, all panting. He begins rambling, tears gathering in his eyes. Loid tries to calm the boy down to no avail. Yor bringing him a glass of water which he takes in a frantic manner. He gulps every drop before wiping his lips, before telling the truth. How he heard his father talking to someone about human and animal experiments. How he sneaks inside his father's room and how he saw the files upon files of paper about experiments undergoing in the underground lab. What experiments that were partook in order to make super soldiers. How two experiments escaped. How his father knew where one of the missing experiment is now. While handling the crumpled up paper of a child's file to Loid, he asks them where Anya is only for Yor to utter. "She went out to buy peanut bags" And now everyone is now on beast mode, trying to find the missing girl.

Naturally, Yor refuses to believe it: Yor: If you actually met him, you would never say that. Loid is the most honest man I've ever met. I only had to know him for a small time to realise that he's the only person who would ever accept me. Melinda: People are rarely who they seem, Yor. Everyone in Ostania has secrets, things that they feel they can't share with anyone, even their own family. I would know. My husband and I rarely tell each other anything. He considers me a stranger, despite us living in the same house. It's nothing personal, though. That's how he views everyone. Yor: _[thinking]_ Considers everyone, even his own family, to be strangers?! Loid never said anything about Donovan Desmond being so cold. Melinda: Besides, can you honestly say you're not keeping something from him? Yor: *tries to retort, but can't, because she knows Melinda is right* Melinda: I didn't think so. Now, Yor, what do you know of the spy Twilight? Yor: Can't say I know much. I don't really pay attention to espionage. Melinda: Twilight is a legendary figure in the world of espionage. After this, Loid and Yor get into a fight, though it's shown that they're not actually trying to hurt each other, and they're both confused as to why they're holding back. Meanwhile, Anya desperately tries to think of a solution, but can't think of anything that won't reveal her secret. Eventually, the fighting and fear of losing her family gets too much and she runs out: Anya: STOP IT!!! Loid: Anya, what are you doing?! I told you to wait in your room! Anya: No! I can't take you two fighting anymore! Mama, Papa, neither of you are bad people! I know you aren't! Yor: Anya, what are you saying? Anya: I'm saying I've known who you are this whole time! Papa's a spy who adopted me to achieve peace and Mama is an assassin. Loid: You've known this entire time? How is that possible? Anya: Because I can read minds! Loid: Read minds? As in, telepathy? That's possible? Anya: Yes, I know everything about you two, including that you intend to leave us when the mission is over, Papa. But, I don't want you to abandon us! I've finally got a real family and I don't want us to ever be apart! Yor: _[thinking]_ I see. So, Loid isn't a bad person, after all. What a relief. I've been wondering why I'm so unwilling to leave this family, but now I know. We aren't a fake family anymore. Haven't been for a long time. Loid: _[to Anya]_ But, why would you want to stay with someone who's just been using you to further his goals? Anya: Because you haven't just been using me! You care about me! About all of us! We're a real family and I want us to be together forever! Loid: But I- Yor: Loid, she's right. I don't know exactly when we became a real family, but it did happen. We may have entered this marriage out of mutual convenience, but the more I've been a part of this household, the less I want to leave it. Not just for Anya's sake, but for my own as well. *PART 2* While walking the street, Loid finds some way to get in contact with Sylvia Sherwood, and this conversation happens: Loid: Sylvia... Sylvia: *raises her eyebrows at hearing her name rather than her alias* Agent Twilight, is there a problem? Loid: Oh, yes, a big problem. *breathes and starts talking* What were you and the higher-ups thinking forcing me to form a family for this mission?! Did any of you consider that I might end up getting attached to them?! Now I don't want to leave them! Sylvia: And? Loid: What do you mean 'And'? This is serious! If I've gotten attached to them, then it'll be much more difficult to abandon them when the mission's over! Sylvia: And who ever said you had to abandon them? Loid: What? Are you saying you expected me to stay with them after Operation Strix was over? Sylvia: Well, I can't speak for the higher-ups, but I had an ulterior motive in assigning this mission to you. Specifically, I gave you a chance at gaining back the life you lost, for you to find a place to belong in the peaceful world we aim to achieve. I even deliberately sent Agent Nightfall and the other female spies away on other missions as you were in preparation for Operation Strix, so you would meet a woman you could naturally fall in love with. And from the sounds of things, my gambit payed off. Did it? Loid: _[thinking]_ Should I tell her what I've learned? About Yor being an assassin and Anya a mind-reader? No, now's not the time. _[talking]_ Yor told me that she loves me. Sylvia: I see. And how do you feel about her? Loid: I... I don't know. I've had relationships with countless women, but I've never been in love before. Sylvia: Well, it certainly sounds like you love her back. Loid: *sighs* But, ma'am, why give me this chance? Sylvia: What do you mean? Loid: I never asked for this. I gave up the idea of ever living a normal life a long time ago, when I was first conscripted into WISE. That's why I made myself forget my birth name, so I could fully become Twilight and dedicate my entire well-being to the betterment of the two nations and end this stalemate between them. Sylvia: And what do you plan on doing once you've achieved that goal? Loid: What? Sylvia: I mean, you didn't actually believe it would take you the rest of your life, did you? You must have had a plan for what you would do afterwards. Loid: N-no, I didn't. I guess I never expected to actually achieve my goal. Sylvia: So, you thought you'd just keep on doing this mission forever? Honestly, I expected more from you. In any case, if this operation is successful, we'll be much closer to achieving a peaceful world. And when peace is achieved, people like you and me won't be needed nearly as often. Loid: So, this is a retirement plan? Sylvia: Well, not quite. You'll still be called in when you're needed, but I think you'll find your workload significantly lighter than before. That'll give you a lot more time to spend with Anya and Yor. Loid: I'm still not sure. Sylvia: *sighs* Twilight, any chance I had at a normal life died long ago. But you still have that chance. Don't throw it away. Personally, I think you deserve a chance of happiness, after everything you've done for these countries. Handler out. *hangs up* Loid: Someone who's done what I have... deserves happiness? Is that some kind of sick joke? Back at the apartment, Anya has come clean about herself and Loid: Yor: So, Loid adopted you for his mission, and passed you off to everyone as his legitimate daughter. _[thinking]_ Melinda was right. All this time, I've been trying to live up to the memory of a woman who never even existed. In fact, Loid might have less experience with parenting than I do. Anya: Yeah. Yor: And you stayed with him, despite knowing why he adopted you? Anya: Papa saved me. Regardless of his reasons, he gave me a home. He may act tough, but he's really a big softie. Yor: *smiles* That he is. *sees how worried Anya is* Anya, I just want to let you know that I will always be with you. Even if your father leaves you, I never will. Anya: That's not enough! I want all of us to stay together! I don't want us to be apart! Yor: I know, Anya. I don't want us to be apart either. But ultimately, the decision is his. *Suddenly, the phone rings, and Yor goes to answer it* Yor: Hello? Oh, Loid. Uh-huh. I see. Okay, I'll see you there. *hangs up and turns to Anya* That was your father. He wants me to meet him, but I can't just leave you here alone. Anya: I'll come with you. Yor: Anya, you can't. The things we'll be talking about aren't things a child should hear. Anya: But I've heard all sorts of bad things because of my powers, like your thoughts. Yor: *realises what she means* Oh my God, Anya, I am so sorry! Just to be clear, I would never do any of those things, I swear! Anya: I know you wouldn't. And it's not your fault. You didn't know. Yor: Oh, Anya. *hugs her* Thank you. Okay, you can come. But stay out of sight.

*PART 3* Yor and Anya leave the apartment, and Yor finds Loid sitting on a bench (the same one they sat on in chapter 35). She sits down beside him, with Anya watching, and then this conversation happens: Yor: *trying to be as light as possible* This is the same place we sat when we talked about Fiona and you assured me you didn't love her. I didn't remember anything the next morning but it's come back to me now. You said I was strong and called me the perfect mother. Loid: *says nothing* Yor: Anya told me the truth, Loid. About how she's not your natural daughter. About how you adopted her for your mission. She's known this whole time, you know. She's even been helping the two of us with our missions, with us being none the wiser. *laughs lightly but is puzzled by his lack of response* Loid, are you okay? Loid: Why are you still calling me that? Yor: Huh? Loid: Why are you still calling me by that name? I'm Twilight. "Loid Forger" is just an alias I came up with for my mission. It's not my real name. I can't even remember what is. Yor: It doesn't matter. You'll always be Loid Forger to me. Loid: But- Yor: Look, how about we just get everything out in the open? You talk about the people you work for, and I'll do the same. *They exchange information about WISE and the Garden* Loid: It seems our organizations have the same goal, for now. Yor: I guess so. *swallows before continuing* The truth is, Loid, I wanted a husband to keep people from learning the truth about me. Loid: *beat* You're going to have to explain that to me. Yor: Well, Camilla- the woman from my civil service job- told me that it's suspicious for women my age to not be married, so I feared that if I didn't get a husband or at least a boyfriend, people would discover I was an assassin. Loid: I see. Yor: You don't seem surprised. Loid: I guess I've come to expect that sort of thing from you. *sighs* And now I know how Yuri feels. Though, truth be told, you never had to get married to avoid suspicion. Yor: Oh, that reminds me. Is Yuri really a part of the SSS? Are you sure? Loid: I'm afraid so. He gave himself away the first time he came over. His cover story, the tricks he used, his questions. They're all typical things used by them. Yor: I can't believe it. I always thought my brother was a kind, upstanding man, and he's been working for _those_ people, hunting people based on what they _might_ do rather than anything they've already done?! Loid: Look, for what it's worth, I don't think he's an evil person. And that's coming from a spy. He cares about you, at least. Yor: Thanks, Loid. *pauses for a moment* So, where do we go from here? Loid: There's only one way we can go. Yor: What, you're not going to leave us, are you? Loid: I don't have a choice! My work is too important. Without me, the two countries could very well fall into chaos again. And I can't continue my work and stay with you too. I can't get emotionally attached. And I've gotten attached to you and Anya, so I have to cut ties with you. Yor: But you're still in contact with Franky, aren't you? Or is he just another "work associate" of yours? Loid: Franky and I... have a relationship that dates back to before I even became a spy. Ultimately, things happened and we couldn't cut ties. Yor: Then shouldn't we be the same? Loid: Well, uh- Yor: Loid, why did you become a spy? Your personal reason, I mean. Loid: To... create a world where children don't cry. Yor: And to do that, you're willing to abandon your own daughter? The child who loves you more than anything, despite having known who you were and why you adopted her this entire time? Loid: I- *at a complete loss for words* Yor: And if the opinion of a little girl doesn't matter to you, maybe mine does. When I said I love you, I didn't do so on a whim. I meant it. I have loved you for a while now. I just didn't realise it before. Loid: Yor, I've done a lot of terrible things. And I don't just mean killing people. *lists what he's done as a soldier and a spy* I even put a bug on you because I thought you were connected to the SSS, despite the fact that you didn't even seem to know your brother was one of them, going so far as to interrogate you! *he turns to her, his face covered in tears* So tell me, how could anyone possibly love somebody like me?! Yor: *looks at him with a face of sadness and sympathy* Oh, Loid. *puts a hand on his cheek, wiping away the tears, though more continue to come out* I understand. You've done a lot of things that you're not proud of. I can't claim to be the same as you. On the contrary, we're very, very different. But, I can at least relate to dirtying your hands to protect others. Loid, do you know why I asked you, of all people, to be my husband? Loid: Because I was the most convenient option? Yor: *shakes her head* It was because of what you said at Camilla's party. Remember the party where I asked you to pose as my boyfriend? You stood up for me, saying it was admirable how I worked so hard for the ones I loved. Loid: _[flashback]_ To sacrifice yourself for the sake of others... to endure harsh work for something you believe in... no normal person has that kind of resolve. I truly admire that. Loid: I did say that, didn't I? Yor: Yes. I can't tell you how much that meant to me. And now I understand why you said it. In hindsight, I wasn't just looking for a husband for cover. I wanted someone I could spend the rest of my life with. And now I know I want that person to be you. I mean, yeah, we're not normal. Not you, not me, not even Anya. But who says we have to be normal to be happy? Loid: _[thinking]_ When did she become so wise? No, who am I kidding? She's _always_ been wise. Always giving me a push in the right direction, helping me realise when I'm doing something wrong. Always so kind and earnest, that must be *puts his hands on his heart* why I've come to feel this way. Yor: *takes his hands in hers and puts them on her chest* I love you, Loid, and nothing you've done or might do in the future will ever change that. And of course, I love Anya too. You're the ones who gave me a place to truly belong. I even considered leaving the Garden after a mission to stay with you for good, but then I thought about what you would do. That you would keep on going even if you could die at any moment. Your words are what gave me the strength to protect others again. *puts down his hands* Of course, it's your decision whether you leave us or not, but deep down, I think you know the right answer. Loid: _[thinking]_ I can't believe it. Even after all I said, even after hearing all I've done, she still wants to be with me. And it seems I feel the same. _[talking]_ I... I love you too, Yor. I love you so much. You and Anya. I can't deny it anymore. You're probably the only ones who will ever accept me for who I am. Yor: I feel the same way. Loid: I can't promise there won't be a time where I'll have to put my job before you, but at the very least, I want to try to make this work. *he kneels before her, taking out a ring he just happened to have on him* Yor, will you marry me... for real this time? Yor: Loid, you know the answer. *kneels in front of him, whispering in his ear* Yes, of course I will. *The two stand up smiling at each other, then hug and kiss* Anya: *leaps out of her hiding place* Yayyyy! Papa and Mama finally kissed! Loid: Anya, what are you doing here?! Yor: Actually, she's been here this whole time. I brought her with me. Loid: *looks visibly annoyed but says nothing* Yor: So Anya, do you love your father any less now? Anya: *shakes her head* Not one bit. You're not the bad kind of spy, Papa. Yor: Well, that settles it. Let's go home. Loid: Yeah, home.

*PART 4* Loid, Yor and Anya return home, and Anya gets put to bed. Loid then sees Yor blushing: Yor: Uh, Loid. Shouldn't we sleep together? Loid: *flatly* What? Yor: Well, we are truly married now, right? Shouldn't we do what married couples do? Loid: I mean, I'm not against it, but are you ready for that? Yor: Well, it'll be a little awkward but... shouldn't a wife sleep in the same bed as her husband? Loid: Oh, _that's_ what you meant. Yor: Well, yeah, what did you think I meant? Loid: Nothing. It's not important. But, yeah, you're right. *blushes* We'll use my bed. It's big enough for two people. _[thinking]_ And thank goodness for that. I'd hate to have to take out that embarrassing bed again. Yor: Well, I'll change and meet you in your room. Then we'll move the rest of my stuff in tomorrow. Loid: Yeah, sounds good. *Yor goes to her old room, changes into her nightdress and then goes into Loid's- now their- room. After several moments of awkward tension, the two get into bed together and soon start to relax* Loid: Honestly, I think I could get used to this. It feels good no longer having to pretend to be something I'm not. Yor: Something tells me we haven't been pretending for a long time. *smiling* Unless you're talking about us pretending to be a 'fake couple.' Loid: *smiles back but becomes concerned* Are you sure about this, Yor? Are you absolutely certain? Yor: *nodding* I've never been more certain about anything in my life. For Anya's sake, if nothing else. She told me about her past before she met you. Apparently, she never knew her real parents, spending her first few years with scientists who treated her more like an asset than a child. She escaped, but then she went from foster home to foster home with no love from any of them. Loid: According to Franky, she's been adopted and returned four times. Yor: Then you understand why she wants us to stay together. We're the first people to ever love her. The dangers she might end up in because of us... none of that terrifies her more than being alone again. Besides, I don't want to lose this either. Especially not after learning what my brother's been doing. *cringes* If he was trying to make me proud of him, that was _not_ the way to do it. Loid: We'll deal with things as they come. For now, let's enjoy this. *kisses her* Goodnight, Yor. Yor: Goodnight, Loid. Loid: I love you. Yor: I love you too.

My idea for this is that's it happens later on in cannon cause the story has been leaving tiny foreshadowings that Yor and Twilight will fight and Anya's dream suggests that when it happens she's gonna end up choosing between them and ends up revealing her powers to them but as the series title suggests she ends up choosing Twilight and they become a "Spy X Family" and Yor becomes something of a reoccurring antagonist, who tries to expose Anya's powersas Twilight has been keeping it a secret from world ever since she told the 2 of them and took her as his actual daughter. (fyi in Japanese when they write in Roman they use a giant X as a comma to be different that's why Hunter Hunter is pronounced Hunter Hunter and not Hunter X Hunter the same applies to Spy X Family it's actually pronounced Spy family but that's one of those cultural barrier things.)

Loid has been captured and being tortured, healed, then tortured again endlessly. Yuri is enjoying his time and slowly breaking Loid in "creative" ways so he'll reveal the secrets of WISE and eliminate possible remaining spies like him. Anya along with Bond has been taken away by the scientists to dissect them and successfully replicate their abilities because they're the only successful test subjects and since they're basically useless after the dissection, the scientists decided to use them for another research in combining human and animals (results like FMA: Brotherhood's Chimera). Yor, being the Thorn Princess, has been fully identified by WISE and the Secret Police and seen as a threat. Her organisation did not help her in order to save itself and maintain it's secrecy. She is now being hunted by numerous assassins everyday. Even though she's strong, her body finally gave out after fighting continuously for days. The last assassin that killed Yor decided to make a pin cushion out of her using Yor's weapon making her a look like true Thorn Princess. Yuri is too busy torturing Loid to know that her sister has been brutally killed.

In the end Loid finish the mission and leave. WISE found the secret about Anya and want to "investigate" her. Yorr try to protect her not as an assasing but as a mother, trying to not kill for sake of Anya. Twilight was order to get the child and confront Yorr. In a old abandond building wile Anya was hidden both ex-cuple were fighting each other. Explosions and gunshots was weaken the estructure. Anya run to stop her parents she knows something. In the confusion of the battle Yorr does'nt want to hurt Loid and let her guard down, Twilight inflict a serius wound and she fall in front of Anya, her las words was "take our daughter and leave" but it was to late the bulding was colapsing. WISE never found the 3 bodies.
