It's been over 7 years since the last flagship installment of Animal Crossing series. It was great going back and learning these themes from all the games. It brought back a lot of old memories from Towns past. As such I wanted to keep the feel of each track close to the original, making this one of my more straightforward arrangements.

I kept playing New Leaf until February and started playing New Horizons. I was 5 when I got new leaf so like an idiot I named myself STEVE (that’s not my name lol) and my town CHILE. But in New Horizons, My name is Christian and my island is Galaxia. So far I love animal crossing new horizons and the entire franchise. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

I don't know how Animal Crossing music always sounds so bittersweet. I'd love to know the music theory behind it. Listening and being flooded with memories really brought a tear to my eye. These songs really go well with a series that seems happy and simple at first glance. The games can be bittersweet too, though. The player character always begins by moving far from home to a strange new town, and they get letters from their mom who they don't get to see. Villagers come and go, and we build such attachments to our towns that we get nostalgic when we realize how long it's been since we've visited them. Animal Crossing is such a special series, and this was a very special medley and performance. Thank you.

Animal Crossing was one of the few games where you couldn't back it up to an SD card. I homebrewed my Wii just to extract my save file in case my Wii from 2006 ever decides to die. The only problem is that the save file can only be put back into the game on another homebrewed Wii, so if my Wii ever dies, I have to get another one and homebrew it too if I want to play my old save.

City Folk was my first... man I miss the times, me and my sister fought for who will play. Now I'd let her play for hours just to have the time together again. But sadly, those times have passed. My sister is almost 9 years older and while she makes her doctorate right now in another country (haven't seen her for months due to covid), I try to understand algebra through online studies :( I just miss my big sis.. the house seems so dull without her presence, her complaining about being woken up and stuff. Now my last hope is for Zelda BOTW 2 to come out as soon as possible, since when BOTW came out, we had a blast together, exploring the world, searching for shrines, completing quests... Well.. let's hope

When the new leaf theme started I actually teared up. It was my first animal crossing game and helped me through a lot of the tough times. I love new horizons, but I don't think I'll ever have an emotional connection quite as strong as mine with new leaf

GaBeyBey yeah, I’m probably late but you can go to your house and put things in your storage, you can only access in your house tho. Also if u want to skip time u should, I say you shouldn’t but some people can only play during certain times of the day. And in the end, it’s your game, play it however you want to.

The original theme brings me back to playing animal crossing with my sister in the living room for hours. Taking turns on each other’s characters to catch fish while it was raining. Getting KK’s songs every Saturday. Stopping by the fountain to say hi to Tortimer. My mom would play too, she’d make us pull the weeds 😂 she died last November, but these songs bring us back together. Listening now, these medleys do nothing short of make me teary-eyed with nostalgia. Thank you for making these videos and helping us feel closer to such good memories.

NL was my first AC game and oh dear, I was playing this game so much and never got bored once. I remember my cousins getting it just a few months after me, for christmas 2014 and we played so many hours together.... I dearly love this game and always will and ngl when the NL theme came on I started crying, just because of all the memories of getting home after elementary school and just playing til late evening :) thank you for this, it's honestly so beautiful

I really love this Medley, it brings me back to when I first ever played an animal crossing game, I was 4, and borrowed my big sis' pink ds lite to play some classic wild world. I love the game so much that my mum bought me a ds and the game a couple months later. My little brother also got a copy, and we played it together alot. Along with my cousins, we'd all play together running around wildly in the world, and trying our best to control the game :D. 12 years on, and I still enjoy this series, and find it fun just talking to villagers. Thanks for the amazing Medley XD.

I was recently given City Folk and I’ve been so happy just fishing and finding bugs. But the New Horizons theme, will always be very special, because just like the title says, it’s a New Horizon, an introduction, and a new beginning, and for that I’ll always be grateful
