I feel like the entire planet was just hit with a wave of nostalgia in 2019 - it seems like everyone has gotten these feelings at the same exact time. There’s been more minecraft nostalgia videos that have been recommended to me in 2019 then ever before. In the beginning of the year I was hit with a wave myself before seeing any videos of anything from my childhood. And now there’s a new one in my recommended every day, no complaints (this cover was stunning) but it just makes me sad with all of the nostalgia. I appreciate the times I had but I really miss my childhood. More than anything else, I’m applying for college this year and I just wish I could be 9 again playing the wii and minecraft with my friends.

1:40 You keep doing it and its great. Awesome cover and the format with all the particle effects are dope. Can't imagine how much goes into each video
@OpticIlluzhion5 жыл бұрын
Pretty sure all of this is just two videos synced. One is the recording of the fingers, the other is a recording of the midi software. The particles are probably just a skin. But the practice gone into this definitely deserves some credit
@Maxmorphed5 жыл бұрын
OpticIlluzhion Firstly arranging the piece. He’s talked before about adding particle effects in. Notice how in some sequences not every note gets a particle meaning it can’t be a mod or something. Also it’s very impressive if the midi and actual thing are different takes because, as someone who plays piano, getting a take exactly perfect with everything in perfect time is hard.
@OpticIlluzhion5 жыл бұрын
@@Maxmorphed I don't think you understand what I meant about 2 recordings. It's not 2 takes, it's a camera recording the hands while the recording software plays the MIDI file at the same time. The video and audio might need to be synced in post production, which is what I meant

Galaxy was the first game I ever played. Even though I’m 16 now this video made me cry. Reminds me of the days where everything was just simple and all good
