Sangah started her piano journey at the age five, completing her major in jazz piano and having a flourishing career in South Korea before moving to the United States in 2010. This is an extremely useful and easy way to incorporate walking bass in a melody. Wish you could add some more ideas for walking bass.

how do you know what note to start the walk on (pinky, known as finger 5)

Hi Sangah….great lesson and great formula….my question is how is what simple formula would you suggest when you have a slash chord like say like A-7/G or Cmaj7/E in moon river and where the bass note in the slash chord is not a chordal note?
