Pic’s View On The Hellenic Gods And The World

“How much knowledge do you need to have before starting to pray/practice the religion?”
Seems like an easy answer, but can be a complicated question. First, you need to begin with a good understanding of who and what the Gods are. There are many philosophical teachings on this and the quest is to find what school of thought works for you.
This is my view of the Gods and how I came to this conclusion after years of study and practice

very good and interesting video. I see the Gods as spirits of sorts like spiritual beings and like Nature its self. I see like the Gods as the trees, the ground, the wind,the rain and so on. very good

What knowledge does one need to begin? None. Our ancestors were raised in this faith from the moment they were born. When we look at the Polytheists in the East, children are taught how to pray and give offerings. How much knowledge does a child have? The only thing you need is the willingness to learn and to grow in faith and piety. Begin today.

It's not about "should". More simply it's that we cannot. The Gods are immense. Too immense for our human minds to comprehend in one lifetime. This doesn't even factor in the fact that there are certain mysteries that only certain kinds of people have access to. It's just not physically possible to know it all. One has to be comfortable with that. However, that's no excuse for not learning what is available to us
