When applying torque values ALWAYS begin with inner most fasteners and work outwards towards the ends (moves stresses outwards towards ends vs in against the middle and binds/locks stresses in middle). A good practice is to rap rail screws with plastic end of screwdriver or plastic mallet 3-5 minutes after torque to release tension on threads. In aviation maintenance S.O.P. is to torque in 3 increments to final torque value ( e.g. 75 ft lbs final torque done at 25,50, & 75).. 5 minutes after final torque give one last snap on wrench.

Hi Stephan, danke für dein ausführliches Video. Verständnisfrage: weshalb muss die Schiene überhaupt gebettet werden? Hat die Schiene auf einer Seite Luft, da sie nicht komplett gerade ist? Könnte man die Lücke nicht durch einfaches festschrauben schließen?

Moin :-) Das ZF sollte auf einer geraden Oberfläche montiert werden, sonst ist es ja verbogen und verspannt. Ich hoffe das macht Sinn! LG

@@BarneyLeBrain I just bought the Tactical EVO .308 with a 28" MRR barrel, I have to break in... are you still satisfied with your sabatti? I read everywhere that they are very reliable, robust , and very accurate .
