This is real music science which is quite artistically explained. Perfect demonstration with tremendous clarity drives in the verbal contents effortlessly into the minds of the listners. One can feel the scale change from "A" to "E" from the Shruthis played at the back ground. More excellent is the reinforcing piece of information conveyed by the tabla in the piece of the original song sung by Maadhuri madam.. Hindolam is sung as if its notes are clad in ShuddhaDhanyasi. Deepu has carefully rendered the swaraas without altering the spirit and nature of the corresponding notes in the "A" Shruthi. Otherwise,if Deepu had brought in the originally accepted gamakams of Carnatic Hindolam for the transformed notes, the presence of Hindolam in the second half would have been far more obvious. But Deepu deserves full credit for preserving the notes and mapping the notes as such, to the new scale. If we anchor our mind in the new scale we can feel Hindolam. This is not a difficult job. One has to tune himself into the new Shruthi. Then Hindolam is obvious. It is Shruthi bhedam present in this video at the back screen. നിൻ മണിയറയിലേ നിർമല ശയ്യയിലെ എന്ന ജയേട്ടൻ ഗാനം mohanatthilum ഹിൻദോളത്തിലും പാടാം. ഞാൻ എൻ്റെ സുഹൃത്ത് ശ്രീവത്സൻ വർമ രണ്ടു രാഗങ്ങളിലും പാടിയത് കേട്ടു. അത് elaborate ആയി ഒരു വീഡിയോ ഇറക്കിയാൽ നന്നായിരുന്നു. ജനങ്ങൾ പാട്ടുകൾ ആസ്വദിക്കുന്ന നിലവാരം വർദ്ധിക്കട്ടെ. നല്ല സംഗീതം മനസ്സിനെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നു എന്നത് സത്യമല്ലേ? ദൈവം അനുഗ്രഹിക്കട്ടെ.

നന്നായി അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. ഞാൻ ഏറ്റവും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്ന സംഗീത സംവിധായകനാണ് ദേവരാജൻ മാസ്റ്റർ. എങ്കിലും പ്രിയ സഖി ഗംഗേ എന്ന ഗാനം ശുദ്ധധന്യാസി യില്ല, ഹിന്ദോളത്തിൽ തന്നെയാണ് എന്ന് ഞാൻ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു. ഹിന്ദോളത്തിൽ അന്തർലീനമായിട്ടുള്ള വിഷാദ ഭാവം ആണ് ആഗാനത്തിലുള്ളത്. പ്രത്യേകിച്ചും മാനസസരസ്സിൽ അക്കരയോ എന്ന ഭാഗത്തിന് . വേണമെങ്കിൽ ശുദ്ധധന്യാസി യിൽ ശ്രുതി ഭേദം ചെയ്ത് ഹിന്ദോളം വരുത്തി കാണിച്ചു എന്ന് പറയാം. തങ്കത്തളികയിൽ എന്ന ഗാനം ഹിന്ദോളത്തിലാണദ്ദേഹം ചിട്ടപ്പെടുത്തിയത് എന്ന് ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോഴാണ് കേൾക്കുന്നത്. അതിൻ്റെ ഭാവം ശുദ്ധധന്യാസിയുടേത് തന്നെയാണ്.

താങ്കളുടെ നല്ല പ്രതികരണത്തിന് നന്ദി. താങ്കളുടേതുപോലെ ഉള്ള ചിന്തകളും അഭിപ്രായങ്ങളും പല സംഗീതപ്രമികൾക്കും ആസ്വാദകർക്കും ഉണ്ടാകുവാൻ സാധ്യത ഉണ്ട് എന്നത് കാരണം ആണ് ഞാൻ ഈ വിഷയം തന്നെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തത്. എനിക്കും പലപ്പോഴും ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള സംശയങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാകാറുണ്ട്. ചലച്ചിത്ര സംഗീത ലോകത്തിലെ മഹാപ്രതിഭയായ ദേവരാജൻ മാഷ് "സംഗീതശാസ്ത്രനവസുധ" എന്ന പേരിൽ ഒരു ആധികാരിക ഗ്രന്ഥം എഴുതിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. കർണാടകസംഗീത ശാസ്ത്രം ഗണിതശാസ്ത്രത്തിൽ അധിഷ്ഠിതമായി തന്നെ അതിൽ വിസ്തരിച്ചു പ്രതിപാദിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. ആ ഗ്രന്ഥത്തിൽ (ഒലീവ് പബ്ലിക്കേഷൻ സ് രണ്ടാം പതിപ്പ്)രാഗങ്ങൾക്ക് ഉദാഹരണമായി പലപാട്ടുകളും കൊടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. 1. ശുദ്ധധന്യാസി: പേജ് 515. ഇതിൽ കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ രാഗത്തിൻ്റെ ഉദാഹരണങ്ങളിൽ അഞ്ചാമത്തെ പാട്ടായി കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നത് " പ്രിയ സഖി ഗംഗേ പറയൂ" 2. ഹിന്ദോളം: ഇത് പേജ് 519 ഉദാഹരണപ്പാട്ടുകളിൽ ആദ്യത്തെ തന്നെ തങ്കത്തളികയിൽ .... അദ്ദേഹം തന്നെ കവിതകളിലെ ഭാവം നോക്കി സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന പാട്ടുകൾ ആവണമല്ലോ ഇവ. ഈ കൺഫൂഷൻസ് ഉണ്ടാകുന്നത് വളരെ natural ആണ്. ഇതൊക്കെ കൂടാതെ,ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞ ആ തബലയും ശുദ്ധധന്യാസി യുടെ പിച്ചിൽ തന്നെ ആണ്.. അപ്പോൾ ദേവരാജൻ മാഷ് ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചത് ശുദധന്യാസി തന്നെ, അതേ പോലെ തങ്കത്തളികയിൽ എന്നുള്ളതിലെ തബല യും ഹിന്ദോളത്തിന്റെ pitch തന്നെ. താങ്കൾക്ക് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു എന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞതിൽ സന്തോഷം. ഇനിയും ഇത് പോലെ എൻ്റെ വീഡിയോകൾ കണ്ടു പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുമല്ലോ.

"റികോർഡ് പിച്ചിൽ കാണിക്കുന്ന രാഗം തന്നെയാവില്ലെ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്" ഇതൊന്ന് വ്യക്തമാക്കാമോ? അതു പോലെ ഗായകരുടെ പിച്ചും തബലയുടെ തുൾപ്പടെ എല്ലാinstruments ഉം ഒരേപിചച്ചിൽ തന്നെയായിരിക്കില്ലേ ? ഇതിന്റെ ഉത്തരം: വെസ്റ്റേൺ guitar സാധ്യതയില്ല. അത് chords ബേസ് ആയി ആണ് ചെയ്യാറുള്ളത്. അപ്പോൾ അവിടെ "സ" എന്ന നോട്ട് കേൾപ്പിക്കണമെന്നില്ല. പക്ഷെ അടിസ്ഥാനപരമായി എല്ലാം ഒരേ പിച്ചിൽ തന്നെ ആവണം ഒരു പാട്ട് ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ . percussion അല്ലാത്ത മറ്റു എല്ലാ instruments ഉകളിലും മറ്റു സ്വരങ്ങൾ എല്ലാം വായിക്കുമല്ലോ. അപ്പോൾ കൺഫ്യൂഷൻ വന്നേക്കാം. പക്ഷെ പെർക്യൂഷനിൽ അതേ note /സ്വരം മാത്രമാണല്ലോ കേൾക്കുക. അതാണ് ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞത്.

Record pitch എന്ന് പറയുമ്പോൾ A. അതിൽ ശുദ്ധധന്യാസി തന്നെ..ശ്രുതിഭേദം ചെയ്തട്ടേയില്ല. ശ്രുതിഭേദം ചെയ്ത പാട്ടുകളിൽ ആധാര ഷഡ്ജം ഷിഫ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യുമല്ലോ. അപ്പോൾ റെക്കോർഡ് pitch ഇൽ ഇന്ന് മാറിയ പോലെ തോന്നിയേക്കാം.
