I like it, and i never thought to put piccolo strings on, but why is it that A LOT of bass players stay above the 12th fret? Why not just get a 6 string guitar? I went to the 5 string bass to get DOWN and play. I wish i could add a 6th strings on the bottom end.

Nice feel and sound Thomas! Tak Tak. BTW does Puk Studio in Aarhus still exist? I produced a funk project there around 1981. A beautiful studio back then with an enormous control room. Tina Turner and David Bowie were producing there back then. Puk had the walls lined with ABBA gold records he'd produced. Otherwise I only remember touring Tordenskjold Clubs around 1971 (a lot of alcohol and loose women but that was back in the day!).

What brand of guitar is that...scale length? What website did your guitar? Where did you get you piccolo strings?

92greenebeen its a 80s Tune Bass Maniac, standard 34 scale, so its not optimal for piccolo use, very hard and stiff action, but it was what i had lying around:-), i would recommend a shortscale 32 or 30 scale bass.piccolo strings i ordered from thomann.com
