The economic feasibility basically says nothing. Why would you take half the energy and throw it away vs just having a battery? Hydrogen is only cost effective as a storage medium at longer time intervals but this isn't suggesting that.

Thank you robinjones5169 for your comment. For more information on this innovative technology, visit: www.homepowersolutions.de/en/product/. The Picea system uniquely integrates Solar, Batteries, and Hydrogen to optimize energy usage. Excess energy is initially stored in batteries, with any surplus converted into green hydrogen. This approach leverages hydrogen's long-term storage capabilities, complementing the short-term efficiency of batteries. While hydrogen conversion entails energy loss, it compensates by providing substantial storage for periods of low solar output, like winter. This synergy ensures a stable, year-round energy supply, addressing both immediate and prolonged energy needs. Stay tuned as we delve deeper into the economic aspects of this technology in upcoming content.

Not new tech and hydrogen cells are expensive and short lived. Generating hydrogen is attractive for use to drive combustion engines in cars though depending on the cost of equipment and containment. Good idea, wrong application. Fine if you want to attract the rich and save the planet at all cost nut jobs. If you want to sell to the masses and make the world a better place for everyone, make it work and make it affordable for the working stiffs.
