Group 3 was scarily accurate. I haven't spoken to my two best friends in 9 months because they got together behind my back. They lied to me for 3 months. We worked together before and I had given him a gift on V-Day as a hint on my feelings towards him but he never really questioned the gift and he just kindly said thank you (this unfortunately hit me harder than I would’ve liked) so for the first year of working together, I was very cold and unresponsive towards him which was very immature on my part but it was hurting me to see him go on dates with other girls so for the sake of my mental health and sanity, I quit, then got another job which I worked for a year. (fast forward 1 year to now where COVID has caused a lot of business to close for a while) so now that my current job has closed, I needed a source of income and another old coworker told me that they needed people and of course it was the same job I had quit for very bad reasons so now I’m going back to this old job (reluctantly) and I know that there will be some wounds that need to be healed and I’m very nervous to see him again because I left without really saying goodbye.
