OMG! I'm literally blown away! My fiancé passed away unexpectedly in Nov. 2017 just a few months before we were to move to Hawaii & have our dream wedding in Maui. Needless to say I was devastated. About 5-months after he passed away, I went to have lunch with a friend who I hadn't seen in a long time. When I arrived at the restaurant most of the parking lot was sunny, but I wanted to park in the shade, so I ended up moving my car several times before I finally decided on a particular shady parking space. During lunch my friend kept asking me questions about my fiancé & everything that had happened, so I literally spent the entire lunch talking about him, which made it a very emotional lunch. Crying uncontrollably at this moment, I was about to write a poem , contemplating whether I should write it on my fb page for everyone to read. pile 3, I have been doing bunches of deep thinking lately and come to a few conclusions, That I have spent a bunch of my 50 years being angry over the crap people brought to my life..but then turned around and committed the same against others, and I was thinking about forgiveness, and had the light bulb moment in thinking that IF I dared ask God for forgiveness, then I'd have to learn pretty darned quick on how to also forgive those that did the same to me. That I am a pebble in the lives of those I hurt, every bit as much as those that hurt ME were pebbles in my life, plopped their lil stones and the ripples it brought to my life, also affected those I hurt in the same similar ways. And my own ripples of damages I caused others as a result of my tossed stones upon them. I have never really understood forgiveness and have no idea even where to start, but i feel the only way i can achieve forgiveness's for what I did, then I also have to forgive what was done to me. My beautiful heart, is likely a cat that i hand raised from 2 weeks old, that passed a long while back. I met up with her one evening in a dream and there in heaven she isn't a feline..its odd to explain..but i didnt recognize her in human form til she said a few things to me that clued me in. I am unsure who the giving soul is though, but i am really certain that the one saying I am sorry, please forgive me, is my mom, whom had a hereditary disease, that likely caused her to be the parent she was, BUT, as a child you never understand those types of aspects and its just the abuse suffered that is all you can see and grow with. Thanks Dee! I had a rockstar brother who lived life in that way, sex, drugs and rock n roll. I am more concerned about the kids that he left behind and my soldier brother who left a daughter behind.
