Pile 3, yes everything was true, except I do think I’m one of the few who has the milder aspects in some ways. She wouldn’t tell me to get out of a picture if I looked ugly, but she is very political and cares a lot about her appearance and reputation in really unhealthy ways as you’ve mentioned. The thing that’s been weighing on my mind is that I tried to tell her about my sexual assault and she kind of completely ignored it, but I understand because my particular situation is incredibly taboo and uncomfortable to talk about. And I don’t want to stop being friends with her because we’ve been friends for so long, and atp I don’t have anyone else I can rely on as much, even if she doesn’t give me everything I need. I’d also feel really selfish to bring it up with her because something really terrible and traumatic happened to her recently, and if I brought it up to her not only would it shake our already unsteady relationship, but it would also overwhelm her I think
