For Economics I got 2 chosen on my own while for the Macro IA I found the prepared article and for which there is some information given to write an essay. Is it safe to pick prepared articles as for example from owltutor.co.uk?

They can't penalize you for having the same article as another person, that being said, I wouldn't. I'd rather pick a similar article but not the same.

You cannot choose articles that are pre-analysed.
