Oh, my goodness. You are an angel. I have learnt so much from you already. I hope you don't mind someone binge watching your videos. I, too,am a heavy handed artist. Painting in old is sooo very different from this hobby. But I will succeed in learning more about it. Thank you so much my new friend. Dee

You saved me a ton if time! That is a great idea on choosing a palette. I've stared at pintrest, other sites and apps to choose a palette. Then end up staring at my phone longer than I color and never even picking one that suites the look I was going for. Or worse, I choose a palette and have no idea where to put it in my picture. Your idea is a great place to start and I can't wait for your next videos! Keep em coming girl! Thats why your channel is my FAVORITE!!!! THANKS! I'm gonna pick me a page and apply the new knowledge you shared! 🤗🤗

Relate to what you say. I have books untouched and pencils that have not gone beyond swatching. It is depressing me...and I got into this to help with depression. But time to move on. Stop obsessing and start enjoying!

This has got to be one of the biggest struggles in coloring a page, so thank you for the video! It was very helpful. I think I've gotten better , but I learned the hard way. Very good tips! I always see the focal point in a coloring page, but have never thought of building my colors around it.

Thank you....thank you...thank you! I am fairly new to this wonderful world of coloring, and have recently falling down the rabbit hole of watching all these great youtube video's on coloring, however it can make me feel a little lost in it all. I want to improve my skills and learn, but just like you I want to finish a page without feeling like I just ran a darn marathon!!! Looking forward to you " having my back" !!!!!

I feel like my brain is on KZbin talking out loud. I have thought everything you just said. You helped me to figure out that I needed a focal point. I could not for the life of me figure out why I couldn't even begin. Thank you thank you thank you! You communicate very well! You got me skipping around the room. This is the 2nd video of yours I've watched. I feel like I am finally getting it.

Sometimes I pick pen, pencil or marker color and then based the rest of the colors around the first choice. I definitely pick a focal point and go from there. Where I am different is I have to take my time. I find I make less mistakes if I slow down. Finishing fast has never been something that has worked for me. I love that you are doing this. So many people are unsure of how to start and keep going. You're a gem.

I just usually pick 3 to 4 colors on a page and that helps me. I find that my pictures look better that way. If it has a lot of details I use 4 colors but if it's less details then I use 3 colors. To me it makes the picture come together. It works for me :) Thanks for the informative video! God bless!

Dont know how many times ive started a page only to be like uh not gonna waste any more of my ink lol... Or the damage to my fingers.. I already where a bandaid on my right ring finger for extra cushion.. I had gotten a blister from coloring to much 😂😂 My favorite is mandalas.. Would love a video on color themes and ideas for those.. Always looking for new creative color palettes.. One thing i do is just find a pic i love and then use the colors in pic... Always gets nice results..

Yes that's me I have to search for inspiration and relative things for coloring but I'm still learning so I'm so appreciative for your tips. I have watched tons of videos and honestly I must say yours by far has been the easiest to follow along with. The focal point tip is a saving grace for time and it helps with deciding what to color first and deciding what color to use. Thank you!

Totally hooked on the Diva! I work, have a family, one eye that works & so, coloring time is limited but precious. Wasting time on dithering or color math is just NOT how I want to spend my life. All, any, every tip you offer feeds a bit of joy in the coloring time. Looking forward to the series & to watching this one again when the dithering hits!

Hi it think it easier to color focal items wood or neutral . It is adding the colors to make the other stuff in room cohesive . The wood and walls I don’t mind it is picking colors of like books on bookshelf . Curran’s and fabric chair or couch

Great video. Looking forward to the next one. I guess I've always been picking a focal point but never realized til you said that and I was like, ok wow. You are so right on. I really love your videos and your work is beautiful. I love your style of interior decoration but I don't know if I would be interested in trying that. I might! My last page took 2 weeks with markers and colored pencils. I'd definitely like to speed up a little. I spent a lot of time staring at my page. I know it's not a race but like you said with all of these products we own at my rate, I'll never finish a book let alone color in every single one. Thanks for great videos! 💜
