I just got mine and it is exactly the same lock but this doesn't seem to work. I think it is just because I just got it out of the box though so when I use it a lot more it will probably work. This video was very informative and useful thanks for making this video. edit: i just did some fiddling with it and i figured out that if you turn the number that feels the hardest to turn while pulling the shackle really hard, if you turn that number decending until you get to the number that stops you from being able to turn it anymore that is your first number. And you keep doing this for all the numbers until finaly it unlocks. This is really fun to do without looking.

Thank you. I set up four new Puroma locks and one of them didn't set correctly. After I shut it back and turned the numbers to zero I could tell that the rollers/cylinder were hard to turn. Yep, the code I just set wasn't right and 0-0-0-0- no longer worked. I used your method to open the lock and lock and reset it. It was really way way too easy to do. These locks suck, but I am not using them for actual security, they are on my gates and patio boxes to keep my toddlers in the yard and out of the storage boxes.

I have the opposite challenge with this lock: I can’t close it anymore after a child tried to change the code and only partly succeeded. Since you opened the lock, could you explain its inner workings that might help figure out the code? Is it possible that one gate got stuck between two numbers? If so, can this be fixed somehow?

Well, not that unusual to have unevenly spaced gates. One Spanisch lock had 2-3-2-3 on 3 wheels and only one gate on the last wheel. Some bike locks have 1 or 2 false gates and some on every number - this varies a lot.
