Thank you for the update! Really enjoy your videos. Showing us the trials you have is probably one of the most helpful things you can do for us to learn. The berries you have look GORGEOUS! Have you thought about doing a farm tour in one video? I'd love to have a big picture of your farm:)

Used to pick them wild on side of road with my grandmother. They spray poison on the roadsides now, so can't do that anymore. She used to make the most delicious blackberry dumpling cobblers. Miss them so!

When I was a kid we used to live next to a public park full of dark, sweet, plump blackberries like the ones the video. i used to pick them on our way home from school or whenever we pass it. It was so nice. No one owns the land so picking it was not a big deal. Watching this makes me think of that park.

have you thought of switching to the Primark Freedom Blackberry?
@mattrobinson51983 жыл бұрын
It's challenging growing fruit, When you live that far north!

We like Freedom Blackberries in our zone 6b Nashville area. If we lose the spring crop, we still get a wonderful fall crop of large berries because it is a primocane. After struggling the past 2 springs with crazy weather, we are going to mow them to the ground after the fall harvest and just go with a fall crop next year.

Beautiful fruit quality! Did you notice any difference in cold hardiness between cultivars? -14 sounds like smudge pots or orchard misting wouldn't have helped

I don't think it's much to worry about, your plant will just make it's remaining berries even better with that loss
