My room is all white, I have two windows on two different walls I love when I open them all that brightness comes in and I don't need to turn on the lights.... Been having a pink room with pre teen furniture since about 2004. I turned 18 in may and graduated from high school this past June. decided to redo my room because I wanted something new and mature. I also went with the grey look with a few splashes of white and rose gold. so excited to see the end results of my room and nayah's room !!!

Auntie I understand what you mean about the black everything lol. My mom would assume I'm depressed because I loved black and wanted black everything in my room. But now I have moved from the black to white and grey. More of a neutral color and you can match basically anything with grey or white

I think you should have done the old pink wall in the brick pattern only as an accent wall and painted the rest of the room that nice gray. Also keep accenting with that pretty soft pink color. As an avid reader since I was a child I can totally understand why Niyah wants to keep her bookcase and books, we love to reread our favorite books only die hard readers get that.
