Lovely Emma, I love watching you working on your plot… so inspirational! I am 83 years old and have to say that there is always something new for me to learn even though I’ve been gardening all my life. Love seeing Einstein interacting with you. If ever you are moved to start a compost heap I would be truly happy because I know how much you’d love it 👍 I get almost as excited about the compost as I do the vegetables 😂 Thank you for all your hard work in making the videos!

Glorious Autumn light. Last "job" of the day before you loose that light, put down the trowel, turn off the camara and pour a glass of beer?? wine?? or G+T?? and jest walk around your own piece of heaven, looking at it´s very, very best. PS. Your "hard won" pumpkins will taste all the better for it........B

Thank you ! Especially for the laughter you caused me, when your eat the bad pee, opps I mean PEA, LOL. I really needed the laugh. I live in North Carolina and there is so much devastation in our Mountains, around Ashville, NC, from Hurricane Helene. It is truly heartbreaking. Please keep everyone in your prayers. Hello Emma, I'm here relaxing after a full day running errands. May I suggest to spray paint or other paint to put on your scissors so you don't have the ribbon from getting in the way or falling off. just a suggestion. have a great day.

Names - Jack and Kim. Emma, I know nothing about growing things but is it possible that the soil and positioning of your pumpkins last year on your old plot suited them better!

I think it might be a Marina di Chioggia they get more bumpy if they get bigger. I think it’s best to harvest when the stem starts to dry out if you’re trying to save it at all? I guess if you’re trying to cook it right away it might be OK, but I don’t know if I’d be as flavorful. I always struggle with the wind harvest things.

Pumpkin could be winter sweetheart variety, if the inside is more of a dark mustard colour and flaky flesh. I dehydrated and ground it…. I use it as thickening powder for soup and gravy.

You are feeding that Robin far too much. He's only little and it not only creates dependence but also changes his behaviour as much of their daily activity is to do with finding food.
