New subscriber here. I just bought 2 canisters and 1 sachet of Rubberstop, I just checked the Vulcaseal, it's cracked- I'll never use that again. Rubberstop isn't that much expensive but it's more expensive to use Vulcaseal coz' the 2ns or 3rd or 4th application you'd still need to pay the carpenter 700 or 800 per day. I should have known about the different sealants 2 years ago (it was never really fixed).

@@BUILDRITECONSTRUCTIONCHEMICALS I realized, upon inspection, Vulcaseal and other solvent based are maybe Bostik rubber cement (formerly called Rugby I think) that may have been just mixed with epoxy w/ a few tweaks and it's truly just used in the Philippines. The complexity of the many types of sealant for specific materials is a hurdle- so people just go to Vulcaseal which has become the one sealant to rule them all for indoors and outdoors (but it's not a good sealant). Buildrite must do it's best to create one sealant to rule them all if it's to unseat Vulcaseal and the price must be lower in the 21st century. The Philippines' has been doing sealant wrong with Vulcaseal which actually cost them more coz' of backjobs that you still have to pay coz' backjob w/ freelance carpenters is just a paper term- it's not practiced. This is huge mission by Buildrite, simplify the adhesive sealant and make a sealant to rull them all for outdoors and indoors at indoor adhesive sealant price (lower). Other use silicone and acrylic (avoid polyurethane). I wish there was one adhesive silicone for both outdoors and indoors that's priced like an acrylic sealant, 300ml, 300g at just 100 pesos to 130 pesos. Buildrite must unseat Vulcaseal and Waterstop even (expensive doesn't work well) as the go to "sealant". It must put LCDs in hardware store w/ a short message that solvent based will be more expensive coz' it's not really an international standard (the ad must be short but concise put LCD tv, smalls ones in all popular hardware stores- carpenters are looking for a better alternative that's cheaper than Vulcaseal, do owners and employers.
