I just saw your argument with a kid. I was laughing so hard by the end Haha. I had the same experience yesterday with a girl that blames me for all the injustices of the dairy business because I drink milk and eat dairy and support the abuse of the cows . I know better then to argue with a teenager because your never gonna win but I still got sucked in. That's why I was laughing so hard at your attempt to explain reason hahaha

How do you afford to take care of 4 dogs, 4 horses and lessons for 2 girls and Laura multiple times a week?! I can barely afford 2 horses and 1 dog and a year of pony club! Also I am truly grateful for all I have and I would never ask for any more. It is difficult owning a 1200lbs animal that is 3 times bigger than you but it totally pays off!! Great video btw 😘

Katelyn Crazyway exactly. They are used to keep flys off their eyes and face not about the sun. It’s called a FLY MASK not a SUN MASK

Great that you get too spend some time without the girls, whilst they’re off enjoying themselves with their friends. Perhaps they can ride in the evening at home, if it’s a bit cooler, even just a little walk out and maybe you could go out on Stella Laura or even just have a ride on her in your indoor ( although I can understand if you don’t want to on your own), great opportunity to spend time with the horses though in the peace and quiet lol. Perhaps you can use the pagoda tent you had at the show and put it out in the paddock for the horses to get some shade, be interesting to see if they did make use of it 😊 Such kind words you said about Fionna and I have to agree, she really does show a lot of empathy and makes it fun for her students too, but at the same time can be strict when needed. You’ll have to look on line for a fly mask for Willow as I’m sure you can get ones for minis 😊 one more thing (lol), you’re absolutely right about Storm, such a difference now, he paints a lovely picture and Finn will too 😊👍 Still find Sophia hilarious and so sweet that she was going to give her apple to the pony ( that’s what I’d have done) 😂

I have horse camp for me starting on Monday and I am a camp counselor but... I still get to ride so that I can help kids while on the horse with their hand positions and stuff but also because my horse is a little brat and hates it when one horse is being ridden and she is not... Loved the blog and I hope the girls have a good week at camp!

So I’ve kinda noticed this in your videos of your horses taking off and bolting because of something happening and I was going to give you a little suggestion. When the horse bolts and you pull back, they will completely ignore the bit. So when my horse bolt I grab one side of the reins and pull the rein to my hip bone while sitting back. She listens to it and stops and I just move her hindquarters around and make her move a lot before we start again. If you make them work after they bolt they will realize “If I make my self do more work I get to work harder just to cool off” it’s a thing I’ve always known and thought you guys should know this too for in the future. My rodeo camp it’s was also an overnight bible camp we rodeo 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours after lunch we had to do chores every day had to feed our own horses tack with all western tack twice a day and untack and make it back in time for lunch and dinner then go to worship and preaching then go check on horses oof it was a lot of work along with if you wanted to shower you would have to run all the way to the jockey showers or get up at 5 while the others get up at 6 am

There are always gonna be horses that u hate but that is just part of the sport. I have learned that the ride will be over soon enough. If u get Polly or Emrald later in the week don’t get discouraged and let it ruin your day! Just remember that your ride will be over soon❤️

I think it will help you bond with stella if you act the same way girls act around their horses, for example if you are just going down to say hi to the horses, say hi to Stella first, or go up to her first.

It’s 130 degrees today, lol I have to train my pony today.. fun. I have to pony him on trails, and get him use to a bit. I have lots to do today and it’s so hot outside. I may do it in the evening honestly love riding at sunset. Edit: Also, I have no clue if your horses have pink noses, but I saw storm does. Put sunscreen on your horses pink noses to stop from burning in the sun. I have horses with pink noses and it’s fun lol.

Idk i don’t rlly agree with the method if your afraid then do it till your not. Because most of the time the rider can feel the nervousness in your horse. And if you think that your putting you and your horse in a dangerous situation then you shouldn’t do it. At least lead it through the obstacle or whatever and then if your confident enough ride through it :)
