Been over a year since I've rode, pretty excited to get into it again and bring the family along! Today i pick up a clean project bike and give a brief walk around of what we have to look forward too.

nice bike,had an 07 that I sold few years back.It was the only bike I regretted selling.Had a couple fuel injected bikes since then(2014 KX450,2016 YZ450FX) but the 07 is still my favorite.Even had a 2002 YZ426.Currently still have the 450FX but haven't rode it much(20 hours since new).Congrats on the new purchase and stay safe.

etuke some guy near me selling a 450 Carburetor not fuel injected $1600 cash 07 is it a fine deal ? Also what should I look out for when buying a used bike I’m new to dirt bikes

Pretty sweet. I had a 2002 YZ426 and the manual decomp was tough. I'm picking up a 2006 450 tomorrow. My son is 2.5 yrs old and he is getting an ATV for christmas so I'm going to mob around with him once he learns to ride it.

If you're buying an older bike, carbureted is better. Easier to rebuild/work on.

Well after about 2014 you can’t get a carb bike anymore in MX. Lots of trail bikes still run them though, and yes carbs are easy once you figure them out.

Kyle Ware I had an 05 YZ250F before this a steel frame bike. As I can see I’m a little bigger guy and that bike wasn’t packing me around like I needed it to. Now I have all the power I need all the time, love the 450 life! Thanks for watching!

OTTO motor rebuild history, bent wheels, cracks in frame, worn sprockets, leaking fork seals, bent subframe, and air box check. Just to name a few items. I never buy a bike that has bent wheels, or subframe, as that is a tell tell sign of a crash or abuse. Also if they have no paperwork on motor rebuild history I won’t buy. 4 strokes are very reliable up until someone rebuilds it. I say that only because you don’t know if it was backyard rebuild or from a shop. 1600 is a great deal, of the bike is clean and fully functional. Remember it include all items that need replaced into your final purchase price, it adds up fast. Chain and sprockets alone run around $100-250.
