in Italy we get the piaggio porter that is basically an hijet with a bigger engine (1.3 gas and 1.2 diesel) both in a van or truck configuration. They are really cool and in Italy we use them for every kind a task in the big cities with narrow streets.

A buff on all the salvageable panels, then do a silver rhino-line on the bottom faded sections, to match the front bumper. That would be epic.

The more I look at the KEI trucks, the more I like push button 4WD. 2WD for fuel mileage and 90% of driving with 4WD available with the push of a button when you need it.

At first I was really drawn to the Subaru Sambar due to the clover 4 engine and more interior space. After much thought, the rear mounted engine just seems to vulnerable to damage if it gets rear ended. Now I think I am leaning towards the Daihatsu Hijet.

I mean if we're honest, getting rear ended in a sambar hard enough to wreck the engine would most likely total out any other truck too. I say this as a KV3 sambar owner.
