Picking Up My Built Ecoboost Engine!

Its time! We finally get to pick up my built Ecoboost engine and get it prepared to be put in the car. Great to see the build up and running again! just got my full race efr kit for my 10 speed, stock block though; trying not to go ecoboom. it'll stay under 400whp & tq until I get a block but that'll be a while. question is It worth to upgrade the internals on stock block in your opinion maybe also throw a gasket and some better bolts?

If you like taking a car to the track track I would go with the turbo off of a bigger EcoBoost motor. The turbo and the 2.3 turbo can't be beat when it comes to usable track power if you're just going to drag it then just go big turbo.

Land Rover evoque With the 2.0 ecoboost and the Jaguar with 2.0 both have the individual port head in the US if you want one.

Hey buddy quick question, so I have Cobb stage 1 with a CAI, and muffler delete, now I just installed a 3 inch downpipe...and I went stage 2 , but when I went stage 2 I lost power at first then only gain 3 horsepower more than I was in stage 1... Should I go back to stage 1? Or stay in stage 2? I know I need a intercooler for stage 2 but I gift a steal on the downpipe, but what do you think let me know thanks

I strongly recommend that you get a high-pressure oil pump...

Still an open deck? Not even sleeved? You made a good choice with the rods. A good racing short block is around $10,000 new. Be careful not to go too aggressive with the boost. The stock high pressure fuel pump is limited. I tend to put the go fast parts and tune on last. Avoid turning your project into a Frankenstein. You’ll end up ruining the value of your investment. My build is an NHRA Stock Eliminator spec. The mods alone are over $70,000. $55,000 for the truck. $10,000 for the van trailer. $20,000 for the camper and $20,000 in spar parts.

alaa saleh doesn’t really matter if I do the bigger turbo now or later. Tuning process is simple so it’s not a big deal
