No, it’s all contactless now. You do everything in the app beforehand. Show up to the car on the day of, unlock the car via the app, get in and drive off. You don’t even talk to anyone unless you walk into the building if you want to. All paperwork will be in your online account if you want to access it later.

I'm about to get a blue RWD M3 with white interior (used) - wasn't sure about the blue but with the white interior this looks great and you can still see the curves of the car.

@@locoboof I did watch the ceramic coating video. The results look fantastic! I'm located in Central Cal between Fresno/Bakersfield and the cars I own both go thru the automated car wash every other day due to dust and with the annual fire season, you could add ash to that. Plus with it being a heavy agricultural area, you can add insects to that. When delivery day arrives I may just take it directly to a shop to have PPF and Ceramic done. Will that stand up to all the car washes?

Hhmmm…. In my non-professional opinion I’m not sure paint protection film will still look great over time with the harsh brushes of a automated wash. Ceramic coating should be just fine. When I take my car in this Friday, I’ll specifically ask the shop for you. That way we can get a professionals answer.

Grats on the car. I got the exact same one cept blue/black. Couldnt bring myself to get white seats. I test drove one with white and it was too bright in the sunlight, but I have sensitive eyes and the car had zero tint. Mine will be here Nov! Going ceramic coat the whole thing and save up for a couple months to get a full body stealth matte wrap. The blue with stealth ppf looks AMAZING

Also, talk to your insurance and get that PPF covered. If you wreck or someone hits your car, they will not cover your ppf and youll be out of pocket.

Hey bro, just wondering if they gave you an exact date for delivery/pick up in November…? About an hour ago I placed order for same performance spec as in the video (my kids wanted blue with white interior 😅) and it says oct-nov 2022…. So was wondering if it’ll be early November maybe or late oct…? Can’t wait to pick it up 😊, was torn over bmw M340i or scatpack charger but I said forget all that… go electric 😂

I have the 22 Blue and White M3 P - only thing I was bummed about is the 22 M3P no longer come lowered - no idea why.. so ordered springs to do a mild drop. I also did the Road Hazzard immediately from Discount Tire too, and entire PPF front end since I travel between AZ and San Diego often and rocks in AZ are no joke

I remember reading somewhere that the ride was pretty stiff in the older performance models. I heard there were complaints, maybe that’s why they did away with it? PPF on the front end is almost a must if you drive a lot on these cars. As a matter of fact, I’m picking mine up today. They did the full front as well. I’ll have a video up in a few days. I’m sure your car is going to look great with that new ride height. I have a video on my garage lights. You can look on my channel or it should be in the description of this video too.

I received my 2022 Model Y Performance a few weeks back and my rear windows are tinted from the factory. It does not appear yours delivered without any tint?

Since a model Y is considered a CUV “crossover utility vehicle” it comes with tint in the rear. All CUV’s and SUV’s do. The model 3 is a sedan.

Honestly? I like the body style of the 3 better. The Y is also slower, less range and less efficient. Plus, don’t need the extra cargo room.

Tesla is just the ones who facilitate the info to the banks. They’ll send your info to Bank of America, Wells Fargo, etc. I think you’ll be ok though.

The model Y is newer and not up to the same production rate as the M3 yet, hints the longer wait times. Once giga Texas is fully operational the wait times should drop 2-3 months.
