oh man, i HATE breaking tubes! but excellent job rescuing the 'Lite' tube and making the Super Bowl sign functional again. chipping the glass away is always stressful!

The colours of the remaining tubes of the 7up sign look nice. And interesting to directly witness the case of arcing through tubes and destroying blockout paint at that point.

Awesome video, maybe play Greensleeves as you cut out the grease sleeves, lol. Was the Miller yellow painted glass? The small arc between the tubes is something I never thought about with new transformers. Always learning something from ya! Thanks again.

Thank you! I have a separate video about the electronic transformer issues in the channel. Yes, painted yellow tubes. The youngest US beer neon i have with still real yellow glass is the colt 45 horseshoe, from the 80s. Miller gradually switched their neon logo from white (sometimes red) to yellow around 1990, and I don't think it ever was real yellow glass since then.
