I found this car at the junkyard in chula and I took bumpers, rocker panels, molding, brakes and some other things a couple of years ago. It be used for my $300 zx3 project.

Welcome to Hell and Love all in one. My 02 SVT Focus left me stranded many of time for various reasons but when she ran right it was amazing. A little personal experience. The warning light will go out when you get a fresh battery and or starting the car by jumping it off. Prepare for rear wheel bearings and a new thermostat housing. oh and the oil temp and pressure gauges are dummys that run of the cars sensors(they guess).

Great pick! I don't know what you paid for it but, like you said, for weekend end racer. You can't beat an SVT! I swear the modern Fiesta is just a refreshed chassis of that car. Plus, they put V8's in that car!

it's been my dream to build a track svt focus since I was 16(now24). I was into the focus since before the st came to the U.S. although I have not purchased one yet I will and I'm sure these videos will be of great help. please keep them up , much appreciated- Vince

I had a black Ford Focus SVT euro edition that was in top condition. I wish I had it still, I loved the thing but I also like my new 2016 focus st. I'm super excited to see what this car is going to look like in the end.

BooSTed Aspirations nearly sure it was naturally aspirated, maybe a little vtec type of wizardry, I was only driving a sky blue one about to years ago. It won't set the world on fire but enough power to get ya into trouble.

Svt focus’s main competition was the celica gts and it suffered from the same issues and both were slower then the integra GSR and Rsx but all the above were all great cars for various reasons because they all provide the purest fwd driving experience.

BooSTed Aspirations Kona blue. it looks even better in person. has all the carbon fiber accents and shift knob. even ambient lighting in the cabin. I'm so pumped. btw i test drove an RS, the ride quality was awful and not worth 11k more imo

hv a bone stock red 2002 svt.. it's bc my fav ride.. perfect, minus a few chips.. commuter for 20yrs, only the driver seat show any wear.. have 20 yrs of maintenance & parts receipts.. i'll never sup it up, but like what yall are doing

+snoov603 we need to find a permanent spot we can keep it because the reg is expired and we won't be registering it. Then we have to tear down, cage, fix things and then test. So hopefully beginning of next year realistically. We should be attending a few races prior to actually racing to get a feel for everything. Should be some fun videos coming that hopefully you guys all enjoy.

2day,ni am removing the lifters on my fucus ,cleaning them & re-oil them, reset the timing & hope any & all tapping goes away!?!?!?! wish mine was a svt!!!
