Picking wild mushrooms | Perfect survival shelter in a cave | Bushcraft solo camping | ASMR

In this video, I go on solo camping with bushcraft skills practice in amazing wild forest of the Carpathian Mountains. The rainy season has started , and a lot of various wild mushrooms were born. I going on solo bushcraft trip early in the morning, and collected a whole basket of porcini mushrooms, chanterelles and ramaria flava. I cooked fried potatoes with mushrooms and steak in a pan on fire in my amazing natural shelter in the evening.
A huge stone rock with a cave became for me a ready complete shelter from the rain, place for campfire cooking and overnight. I built a wooden staircase to enter a stone cave above a mountain river using only a saw, rope and knife.
A primitive ready-made shelter for survival, as well as just for cozy camping built by nature itself - what could be better? An amazingly beautiful place, the sounds of nature, the crackle of a fire, the smell of rain ...relaxing…it’s my solo bushcraft trip for this video…

Look at the size of that mushroom! My grandmother on my mother's side was from the Romanian side of the Carpathians and told me that she used to go mushroom picking all the time in those mountains when she was a young girl. Great video Victoria 🍄❤

My Grandfather was peasant class from Poland. I’m going on 70 years old. I think back at the things he could do and his skills. He was an excellent Carpenter he could fix shoes. We always had gardens chickens fruit trees. I look at the children today and their video games and I feel sorry for them. My Grandfather raised 7 Daughters that were successful in some degree. My mother could/did help build our first house in New Jersey. Those old neighborhoods all went down the toilet 🚽. My family always planted trees on our tiny property. We had a shaded place to sit in the hot weather. We had grapes cherries apples. We kept a salt shaker on the outside table, we would walk to the garden and pick cucumbers green onions tomatoes beans peas. It’s all gone and all I have is those memories. On my dads side were a bunch of drunken hillbillies from West Virginia. They didn’t like my Polish Grandfather, I didn’t like them. Very sad. I spent my life as a laborer and found peace fishing the outdoors. I never married because I knew at an early age I didn’t have what it took to be a good father. I don’t have any children but that’s sorta ok. Watching this young lady brings peace to my mind. And a few questions. Where did she learn her skills? And I find it amazing that she didn’t fall back on her looks. Definitely crazy talented. One more question, How many times does she stop to take care of that beautiful chestnut brown hair ? Excellent peaceful videos. I am fully aware of what is happening overseas. Just before the crap hit the fan I bought 3 Ukrainian made budget Bushcraft knives. They will definitely work just fine. I bought them on eBay. I was happy with the quality of the knives and the sheaths. Be safe. You have the skills to help several people or at least keep yourself well. I have a few more years left, not many but I’m hoping that I will someday get my camping gear together and spend some time fishing and sharing my skills that I’ve learned in the past 70 years. Your videos are beautiful and peaceful unlike our governments. 🏕️ 🎣 We’ll never met each other. Always remember you have friends all over the world. Peace and good health to all of my outdoors people.

Beautiful Victoria. I live in a rainy spruce-forest region in Ireland but don't know the edible mushrooms from the toxic (though I do know my berries). It was a pleasure watching you forage with knowledge, and the dark rainy imagery was relatable.🌧🌲 Love your videos and have learned simple techniques for utilising windfall timber and branches.
