What was the most garage sales you ever went to in one day?

I don't know if I've ever counted, but definitely more than 25. We tend to get a lot of community yard sales, and one I go to every year has at least 40 homes. So that's a relatively easy way to get in at least 40 sales in one day.

@@findsanddeals I actually never really counted myself until I did this. I would recommend it next time you hit up a bunch of sales just to see how many you actually had done. You are right, community sales are def the way to go.

There is one community sale we go to every year that advertises 400+ sales. We go from 7 am til evening. Not sure how many we visit, but more than 100 I would estimate. They are everywhere and we only have to drive several times to get to the different sides of the town. It is very easy to walk and shop. It is a long exhausting day, but the adrenaline of finding cool items keeps us going. ❤ Amazing find on those Looney Tunes motorcycle figures! Score! -Amy

Yes, anxiety for sure. Two years ago, the first sale we went to was amazing. I scored so many things for cheap, and there was lots more they were bringing out. I was too worried about getting to the next sale when I should have stayed put. It turned out to be the best sale of the day. I am still salty with myself and regret not sticking around. Lesson learned. Lol

A local road has a 9 mile sale twice I year. I've done it twice now and it's far more than 25, last time I bought at 15 sales and the church didn't participate this time.

I had that exact same Doppler and listed at the first time an eBay banned it so make sure you put OTC or over-the-counter in your title and maybe you’ll get it through. That’s how I did it after I waited a couple of months.

Major scores there Rod!! Some day I hope to find great things like you do. But you DO have way more experience and knowledge than I do. Great sales...During the summer, I only go in the morning till I can't stand the heat anymore. So my guess my average would be four. Sad huh? lol

Four is better than nothing! Give yourself credit, at least you are out there hunting. Just remember there are multiple ways and places to source. We all have to start somewhere. You are doing the right thing by watching other pickers. I also recommend looking up sold comps from “highest to lowest” on items that you normally see at sales in your area. This will help you have a better idea of which items to look out for.

I feel your pain. Star Wars is over produced, especially the stuff from the 90’s. Star Wars stuff usually moves super fast for me or i sit on it forever. Stick to the vintage stuff and you will be fine.

Yikes 25 is a horrible day here. Peak season we hit 75-120 a day. I think we did 110 on Sat. I was alone Friday but I hit probably 90ish.

@pickingandpunching central indiana. From june- beginning of August there are usually a minimum of 3 neighborhood sales. Last month or so there have been so many neighborhood sales we can't even complete our circuit lol. There are more and more Thursday sales lately too. First year they've been this prevalent. I'm actually in Florida right now lol. Going to Disney with my sister and niece. Just crossed over about an hour ago

@@waynep2123 I figured you were from up north. I’m originally from PA. When garage sale season rolled around it would be packed with sales. Since I can garage sale all year around in Florida, they are more spread out throughout the year. Our season is March-May and September into beginning of November due to it being so hot In Florida. @pickingandpunching nice, my main job I travel the country. Just took a load to Waynesboro, PA last week. I also have friends in Levittown and Wilkes Barre. Probably not unfortunately, I'll be down mon-fri at disney then probably head back home. My sister's helping out her grand parents in Palm Beach and can only get away for the weekdays. Funny thing is a sale we went to yesterday was selling a bunch of stuff from their parents. Their parents were cast members/management. My buddy got all sorts of neat posters and promo items. I got a box of pins. Most weren't worth much but I got 4 limited edition atlas cast member pins.

I have done really well with comics. It really comes down to condition. I bought a high def scanner to get better pics for my raw books. It also works with paper items and sports cards.
