@@remij9592 Many ppl do DIY bc they cannot afford the event they’d like without creating it themselves. Sadia could certainly have had a super grand event but they were satisfied with something simple and with their own touch. That really highlights their humility and its beautiful. If I had a lot of money I would not DIY my wedding bc it is a lot of work for me lol. There’s nothing wrong with expensive weddings either.

This was lovely. It just goes to show that keeping it small, keeping it intimate, doing so much of it by yourselves really lets you focus on what is really important, and that is the marriage of two people who love each other. No-one needs to be fretting about fake tan running, having make-up and hair rehearsals, paying huge sums of money for what is ephemeral.
