First time seeing your channel, fished some federation tournys as no-boater myself, it’s good to see the positive attitude you carry, that always helps a lot, especially with some of the draws you get, enjoyed the video, Good luck in the future 👍👍

Nice to see someone else cover the tournament from a Co's point of view. It's a shame your boater asked for you to remove the video, but I appreciate you being respectful enough to do so. I've had a few boaters prefer I not film some or all of our fishing days - it's part of the deal. I also had a much better day 1 than 2. I had 3 fish blow up/eat my topwater and didn't get any of them in the boat then caught 3 on day 2 for a 20th place finish. Had great boaters both days and can't wait to get back after it next year.
@TheTinHorseMonty2 жыл бұрын
Ya I didn't want to cause an uproar. I've had a few guys say they didn't want any video in the boat. No problem with that. Congrats on a solid finish. It was tough.

If your day one video is the one I recall where you guys shot down that canal with such a surreal view then I saw it before it came down. Hard for me to understand why the boater didnt like it, but hey, to each their own. One thing I've noticed about you is you keep your cool and keep a fairly neautral attitude in front of the camera. As a co you seem to handle yourself a lot better than a lot of people would, myself included. I appreciate that.
@TheTinHorseMonty2 жыл бұрын
Yes Tim, that was the Day 1 video. It's a long story but like you said to each his own. I really try to stay positive and make adjustments. Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. I do have the little voice in my head trying to spin me out from time to time.

Great job this year and look forward to your winter content! Did your boater say he doesn't fish trees (laydowns) and then you pull a bass out of one? Could be wrong.
@TheTinHorseMonty2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Jake. He said that he has caught crappie out of that set of laydowns but not bass. There was at least one bass in there. LOL

i don't think people realize what forward facing sonar is doing to the fish population....conservationists are studying it now but i hope it's not too late bf they realize the damage....should be outlawed like jacking dear is...I always throw back but many don't...
@TheTinHorseMonty2 жыл бұрын
I'm curious to see what the study reveals. I can see it hurting a catch and keep population of fish i.e. crappie and bluegill. Most lakes have way more panfish than we realize. I personally don't think it should be outlawed. I think we need to only take what we need and throw the rest back. It's a personal responsibility.

@@TheTinHorseMonty i think you'll change your mind when the fishing pressure ramps up x100
@jakecarpenter63582 жыл бұрын
I think you may have watched one too many Randy Blaukat videos. It is probably a safe bet when electronics and big motor bass boats were initially introduced they said the same thing.
@TheTinHorseMonty2 жыл бұрын
@@joenoel3871 Possibly. Fishing pressure is not going to ramp up 100x. CoVid brought a lot of pressure to the lakes but things have settled down. There will always be shallow fish and ways to catch them.
