This saltwater pico reef bowl is only 1.5 liters
No type of filtration
no water changes
temperature around 31-32°c
only oxygen pump to create a low flow
the rocks in the bowl acts as biological filtration to keep all the water parameters stable.

Holy sheet bro, and here I am thinking of doing the same with a 9 gallon bowl with reverse under gravel filtration and a UV canister filter.

Will definitely work with biological filtration if you give enough time to bacterial to grown and establish. After that very low maintenance

i havent done anything to keep temperature constant. its around 29°c - 32°c. no issues
