Love this one-piece, lightweight wood stove! This video makes me want to try it! The crossbar is interesting. It looks like it might provide some extra stability to it. Looks like it burns really hot too. Thanks for sharing.

I have this and absolutely love it, you forgot to mention you can use a Trangia or other alcohol stove inside. Is so easy to set up and carry. It burns better than any other wood stove I’ve had.

Yes, I forgot to mention that. Thanks! This will be the my goto stove too. Thanks for watching! 🙂

I have a wood stove. The problem is you need a back up if you can’t get dry wood. If you are just boiling water, just use the esbit. 😄
@mpark6783 жыл бұрын
Yes. You're right. That's why I carry Trangia alcohol stove as backup. Thanks for watching! 🙂
@carmenmartinez28823 жыл бұрын
The platform you see at the bottom is for a Trangia too, it sits perfectly on it although a little lower than I’d like but you can use those cheap tent stakes through the holes and raise it up although it still functions as is. I have it and Love everything about the stove, I just used it In a 3 weeks camping trip, burns twigs much better than all the others I have. I used it with the Trangia every morning for coffee and twigs for cooking, easy to fit charcoal too for a steak if you put one of those square little bushcraft grills on top, that’ll also support thinner pots like the Stanley and it’ll be stable.

Nice review. One note, the wire brace slips down next to the tab on each side. In this video, you missed the tab and the brace rotated. It can come out of the notch if the wire isn’t held by the tab.
