Picos de Europa Episode 4

In October 2024 I took a trip to the Picos de Europa on a 4 night tour organised by MSL Tours Ltd. The tour was self guided and based at Gran Hotel Suances. This is episode 4 and features the final day's ride along the CA-133, CA-815, CA280, CA-183, CA-632 (BU-574), CA-262, CA-264 and CA-260 from Suances back to Santander.

Another enjoyable vlog mate,thoroughly enjoying this tour with you and all from the comfort of my sofa drinking a coffee,oh and one thing I did notice is that the scenery looks a lot like here in Ireland,what with the mountains and greenery etc

Thank you so much 😊. The scenery was so varied it was constantly changing, but you are right in that some areas were very similar to parts of Ireland and also some like Cumbria, Yorkshire and even areas of Scotland too.

I remember riding through Las Vegas 😅. The Picos is a great area to ride, very easily accessed from the ferry ports. There's still plenty more of Spain to explore. I think Spain and the Spanish Islands are our favourite European riding destinations. Hope the Bay of Biscay was calm on the way back

It’s sure is a fantastic riding destination and no traffic too! We’re hoping to do more of the area next year and follow in your footsteps with some Paradores. Thankfully the return crossing was very calm 😀
