The Walrus book and Rinocerous books are fun, these are great mentor texts for picture book writing. We have them. My kids love walruses ( and cats ). Some of those books are not the styles or stories that appeal to me, but that last book looks fab.

Hi Emma, Your drawing reminded me of the Winchester Mansion in San Jose California. You might want to research that for fun. The widow of the inventor of the famed rifle was a bit eccentric and there is quite an amusing story about the way the mansion came to be. Of course there are legends of hauntings too! Check it out! Also, I forgot to add that I'm also often confused about what weekday is it because I work on my projects pretty much non stop 😅 luckily my husband lives in reality and reminds me what day is it 😂

Love your self publishing video - kdp and photoshop, pls could you advise how you did your illustration on this video, was that an app on your ipad? was that the same for your ocean illustrations? basic question sorry

Thanks for watching 😊 when I did Mother Seagull & The Ocean King I used a mixture of traditional pencils, drawing on my iPad & photoshop. I use an app called Procreate on my iPad. Hope that helps!
