That’s a long time with noodles, and Peter’s two portion 😅 It’s really good that they preserve a part of the “ankle breakers” assuming development was built around it Saw a lot of waterfalls around NZ , first that goes into the sea and it was not a trickle. A proper waterfall Thanks again for a great Sunday vlog and looking forward to see Peter drive on the wrong side of the road 😅 Have a great week
@PeterandYen2 жыл бұрын
Hahaha 2 months is way too long without noodles. It's always hard being seperated from Asian food. Lucky though Turkish food was incredible so it managed to curb us for quite a while. Yeah! NZ has a bunch of great water falls. Always fun walking a trail and finding a fall at the end 🌿 O... driving on the other side... was pretty anxiety filled about this one. Won't spoil the surprise of next week's vlog though 😁

Yeaaaaaaa🦎 and 🐸….and Asian food finally!!! Perfect day right there!! The utter glee you guys had to eat Asian food…can so relate! The worst Asian food becomes the best meal…I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry at the sad sad Korean food you guys found…Cafe Bubu looked so fancy so I was expecting some kind of fusiony Korean food… but they serve like the cheapest of cheap Korean street food…and it looked soooo saaaaaad😂😂😂… but after nearly two months of no Asian food I’m sure it looked like the best thing ever 😁😁… this episode hit home…so relatable 😁😁😁. Looking forward to the next vid! Thanks guys and glad the recovery is going well Peter!

Pahahahaha 😂 this turned out to be one of the best Asian meals we could find in turkey. We went to another place that had Japanese food and they served ramen with literally 7 strands of instant noodles in it 😅 After months of not having ramen it hits differently 😁 cravings were satisfied on this day. Feeling pretty good now took about a full week to get there.
@TwoHungryDiners2 жыл бұрын
Korean ramyun and tteobokki look totally hitting the spot! Glad you can find this place for your Asian noodle crave 😆 Wow the waterfall looks magnificent, totally worth 40 mins ride. Antalya is like Los Angeles in Turkey, with those tall palm tress and beaches, such a lovely city!

Ok on to another video! I always like the few seconds of intro clips you have in each video! Oh heck almost two months since you had Asian food heck I don't know how you did that! But ah heck you deserve that sort of cuisine! Yeah I can't go without some international cuisine for that long! that food looked yummy! Yeah speaking of the heat I guess you heard that New Zealand in for a brutal summer with extra UV rays coming through the Ozone Layer as that Tonga volcanic eruption has taken a bite out of the Ozone Layer! Lots of 50+SPF sunscreen happening! Wow those talk palm trees there are so cool! Heck those trenches from the wheels of carts, yeah a different kind or erosion, or wearing really! Crazy to think how long that would have taken! Your first view of the Mediterranean Sea like wow! High up on the cliff looking down at the water was amazing! Oh yes both views of the waterfall is the best thing ever, like Bridal Veil Falls near Raglan in New Zealand, can do both by walk of course not boat! Haha! Glad you found the waterfall after a while! A flying fox over the stream now that's a cool idea! Oh yes the mist from the waterfall would be SO refreshing! Yeah another cool job and will have to get on to the next video sooner than later!
@PeterandYen2 жыл бұрын
Thanks and yea it was hard going without Asian food for so long 😅 we're lucky in NZ there's so many different cuisines to enjoy and easily too! Plus they're actually good or decent at least 😆 yeah crazy.. definitely gonna need to extra sun screen more than usual 😯

Hello each of the large cities we went to have their own city card which allows you to catch the public transport there. You can find them from the card dispensing machines at the main terminals.

I asked around when we were there and some popular stations have the cards for sale in little machines or there may be a kiosk. You unfortunately can't buy the card at smaller stations.

Omg - come on Guys - Korean Rice Cakes 🤣🤔 In Australia I call this ingredient meal fillers ! Chinese foods are generally full of it as it’s cheap! Oh and the dried noodles ? I can’t believe that you are that excited about these. Having said that I understand that if you are in a country that doesn’t have mountains of noodles then sure you will miss being of Asian background and you are both probably missing your parents cooking 😉😊 I’m glad you are now satisfied in these basic noodle dishes cooked by Turkish cooks 😂😮 Keep the videos coming guys as you are both so Authentic with honest thoughts and not over the top! But come on Peter really is it delicious? You never say “ it’s just ok” 😆😎🙏🏻
@PeterandYen2 жыл бұрын
Hahahaha great comment StewartL 😁 For me the most basic meals can sometimes be all you need. Growing up a Korean ramen after school on a rainy day was the perfect comfort food and I always preferred my noodles dry. Getting some chicken and onions tossed in added that special X factor. So when I dug into these noodles my perspective was of a Asian food craving fiend who had been starved of these umami flavors and it made every bite so much better 😂
