Yes! It's sucks that the dubbed remove his title... and they changed him to wizard... I preferred the original japanese version were he is a demon clown. Hence the title The Clown of Hell! They also in the dub removed some of Piedmon's attack names like Toy Wonderness to Trump Sword and Ending Snipe to Clown Trick... I don't understand why they changed the names it's dumb...

I would say Myotismon is more cruel as he kills his own minions and has less patience as he wants to find the 8th child and rid of the threat Piedmon is more psychotic and likes to ‘clown’ around, he could have defeated the chosen ones but decided to have fun turning everyone to keychains and of course not attacking the chosen ones with his dark masters buddies

Myotismon is straight up cruel, while Piedmon likes to extend the suffering of his enemies for his own amusement. So I don't consider them alike.

VenomMyotismon was in the same shoes as WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon, he was newly Digivovled so he hasn't grown accustomed to it. Not to mention VenomMyotismon wasn't as intelligent as his former Myotismon form and later on MaloMyotismon. Meanwhile, all of the Dark Masters are extremely powerful, they were created by Apocalymon, and are far more experienced. In addition, the Dark Masters were powerful enough to seal the Four Soveriegns, whom are also very powerful Digimon. If it weren't for plot armor (and the limited screen time they had-Dark Masters arc was heavily rushed), the Dark Masters would have showcased their actual strengths vs the Digidestined compared to what we end up seeing in the end.

Yeah Piedmon is definitely above VenomVamdemon/VenomMyotismon, only against BelialVamdemon/MaloMyotismon he would lose. That guy overpowered Imperialdramon Fighter Mode who should be above Piedmon.

If he got more experience I could see him beating Piedmon at least physically but even then there's still one big problem: Venom is really stupid while Piedmon is very smart. If he managed to get more intelligence as well then that's another matter, but otherwise that's actually a very big disadvantage and Piedmon may still win.

@@UchitakeOtoshi Piedmon is smart enough not to fight monsters that too much for him to handle and plus he would only fight if his ruling is on the line. Piedmon wants to rule the digital world and he'll find away to defeat a powerful foe or just use others like the kids, like they did with the others dark masters. Piedmon is happy to sit back and enjoy the show while his enemies perish like pawns on a chess board!! 🤡

I remember watching Piedmon introduce the Dark Masters for the first time, and he was terrifying. Though, personally I'm more terrified of Machinedramon, who is absolutely intimidating. Even in Digimon: Digital Card Battle, Machinedramon's card is terrifying, while Piedmon's card has him looking extremely relaxed, which adds to the terror he exudes.

I didn't know that the US version edited the sound effects from the Japanese and Spanish versions and also they changed the names of Mugendramon, Pinocchimon 🙁

They changed a lot of things and censored it specially the violence. MetalSeadramon is the only DM that gets to keep his original name. In the english dubbed version they just added a "d" to Piemon for whatever reason to be honest I personally like Piedmon more then Piemon and Piemon isn't pronounced the way you'd think... it's "Pee" not "Pie"

Half of Piedmon's Trump Swords were actually fake but they move like lightning. They only slowed it down like they did with WarGreymon and Machinedramon so we can see what happened. To get hit directly by a real one is basically instadeath. He seems weak because he's a theatrical clown, but make no mistake he is wicked powerful. There's a reason he's the leader. Later we see them dodge some of these swords and Piedmon takes a direct hit against WarGreymon's Terra Force but even though it sends him flying backwards, he survives unharmed.
