Easily the nicest actor to ever play bond. Pierce Brosnan is known for being one of the nicest men in Hollywood and this interview shows it. @@TheTombo1990 Scots are similar, but this comment is about the Irish. Don't miss the "probably". This is not some ranking, but a reaction to this episode based on my previous encounters with lots of people from England, Scotland, Wales, Nordics and Ireland.

That's a strong statement with no respect for your neighbors, you are indeed Irish!!

Notice how he went back to his hometown accent when meeting one of his own 🥹 we’ve all done that when we’ve moved away from home for a while 😂

It's so funny for me because I essentially don't have a natural accent, I'm canadian, my father's half english, my mother's american, and I study accents and dialects as a hobby and passion, so when I'm not concentrating, I'll switch between about four different ones without really thinking about it. It's absolutely bizarre to listen to the first time you meet me, I'm told.

My mom's been living for over 35 years away from her hometown, where they speak a whole other accent. But every time she meets her sister or brother, her accent goes immediately back to the one she had when she was still living in her hometown. 😁

@@malikastone Obviously I have an accent, my point was I don't have a singular, "natural" accent anymore, because my current accent is an amalgamation of several that now come naturally to my tongue. You kind of just ignored what I was saying, to make a point that contradicts something I literally did not say, but go off. I'm not like pissed off but you genuinely missed the entire point of the comment I made. Everyone has an accent, but mine is unrecognizable now from what it would be if I didn't study accents constantly. My comment, if you'd actually read it, states that I don't have a "natural accent", not that I don't have AN accent.

@@thareelhelloagain you definitely have an accent, you just can't hear it. I've lived outside of Canada for over a decade. After being away so long I can now hear the Canadian accent and it's very distinct. Different accents too depending on where in Cda you're from and your cultural background ie. Black/White Canadians, Caribbean ancestry, European ancestry etc.

It's like that was a key to unlocking genuine sincerity from Pierce and moved out from a run-of-the-mill interview promoting a film into a proper conversation.

I love how he just drops into that soft, backcountry Irish accent. His reaction is so heartfelt it gave me chills. They say he's a genuinely nice person despite his fame. God Bless ya' Mr. Brosnan.

Seeing him hold back hearing his Grandfather’s bungalow was still there was 💯 wholesome. He became a kid from Navan again.
